14 euros entry fee Enclosures were very close together so what I expected to be at least a half day visit was completed in 90 minutes Aquarium tanks had some amazing species if you are a fish fan Very good AC Eating and dining areas very clean and very new as just been built Childrens play area adequate and near the dining area Feeding time for penguins was 3pm when we went so go in the afternoon Monkey crocodile and various birds also to witness
Very expensive as there’s really only enough there to occupy the kids for 2 hours max. Having said that, we all had fun for the short time that we were there. Staff seemed nice but the animals didn’t appear to be particularly well looked after.
I'll admit I was not expecting much but the cost of entry vs the experience is appalling. The condition of the cages are very neglected. I would of thought some of the high entrance fee could be spent on maintaining/improving the conditions. When I complained I was told it is a private zoo as if that explained the the poor experience. When I asked for a refund I was told that the cashier was unable to issue a refund. After a half hearted attempt to contact the manager she shrugged her shoulders and said no refund. Avoid at all cost.........!!!!
Place should be shut down. Appalling conditions for the animals outside - small, dirty cages, the animals look miserable and distraught. Some fish tanks were dirty and there isn't that many in total. Like a small pet store. Very disappointing. The animals are not the main priority. If you like animals then don't visit this place and continue to fund its bad habits. Steer well clear!
All in all it is worth a visit depending on your standards. It's 13 euros for adults and 7.50 for children. The aquarium took us half hour to walk through and this was us taking it very slow. It has a decent selection of fish and things to see. Once you get to the gift shop you think that is all they have to offer, however there is more to see, such as the penguins, alligator, racoons, birds and monkeys. There is also a large restaurant in the middle of the outdoor garden, which serves drinks, food and ice cream, which as to be expected are tourist prices, but still competitive pricing with other places. There are a few scenic photographic points like rockeries and water features and a children's play area. All in all the value and quality depends on your standards, however arguably for the price we paid it is worth it if you see everything they have to offer, even including sitting down in the outside area for a bit. The gift shop has a modest selection of items and is reasonably priced. The venue has a car park and is a 5 minute walk from the nearby bus stop. Buses that serve are the 711,101 & 102
Great place for kids and just a fun day out for everyone. Wide range of fish and aqua life, feeding the turtle was a blast.
Verry nice park with big childrens corner under sunroof. Was the best thing about the park at midday. Otherwise kind of small and nothing special as an Aquarium.
Great for young children. Food good value for money. Good parking. Friendly staff.
Possibly a great place for a young teenager birthday party group but way too small for a visit as a place in its own right.
There are many types of fish, but a lot of aquariums are dirty, it doesn't look professional. I had an aquarium myself so I know the difference. The worst part though are the animals cages. Many of them are small and look misarable, like the racoons ones. Some birds are kept in cages wrapped in a plastic foil - during a hot day on the sun I can only feel sorry looking at it. Aligator and monkeys behind a window, not the cleanest one either. Going to the penguins terrariums is the saddest part. Dirty, covered with their poo, roof and some walls wrapped (partly going off) in a creepy wallpaper pretending the sky... Very very SAD! The only positive thing was the playground for Kids (besides the trashy vending cars and alike that you need to pay 1€ to make it move) - but is it really worth it to spend 28 Euros (2 adults) to make the kid have a nice playground? I don't think so....
Very very poor, they have invested in the shop but pretty much nothing else, I feel so sorry for animals. There is very little in the way of planning or information about the animals, just a sprinkling of whatever they could get on the cheap. Shame really as they had a real opportunity to showcase local wildlife. I ultimately decided on 1 star due to the cost of €14 per adult, very expensive for what you get
It's about 20-30 aquariums with average capacity of 1 ton of water and that's it. The biggest fish was about 40cm length. There's also kind of mini zoo and small kids playground. Go there only if you have children and you want to spend an hour different from just laying on the beach.
Based on an experience over 10 years ago, but back then it really wasn't all that impressive to be honest. There is a decent amount of parking right outside, but it's quite a small place or at least was back then. Really didn't take long to get around.
Middle (or small for someone) aquarium with lovely rest area. There are some interesting fishes which you can't see anywhere else and newly added historical part of Cyprus in this museum. Nice playground for the kids and restruaunt for the parents to have some relax after the tour. Check out lovely penguins in their home (it's smelly there) and see some nice birds in their homes.
Very small aquarium & very small outdoor area. Animals outside kept in small enclosures. Play area for toddlers only. In my opinion, not worth the 14 euros (adult) & 7 euros (child).
Yep, others reviews were right. Think twice before supporting this place by paying entry fee. Place is overpriced and has little value. Poor animals live in small cages. Even though the zoo has much more space, it is not used to improve life conditions of animals. There is a playground with a lot of machines where your kids can play, but you also have to pay for using them.
Kid got excited BUT need a lot of effort to improve. Conditions, especially for the crocodiles & penguins were NOT good. Could definitely get better. Staff was very friendly!
Very few aquatic creatures on display, expensive for what is offered. Fish tanks are above waist height, so if you have little children you'll need to carry them to see anything. On the plus, it's neat and tidy.
Well maintained aquarium with variety of fish, plus little zoo with penguins, rakoons and birds. The price (13 EUR adults, 7 EUR kids) is too high as it will only take you 20-30 minutes to see everything. Local cafe offers variety of junk food. Small but nice playground is cool for kids 3-10 years old
Good place to come with children. Very interesting and entertaining.
