The Bois de Boulogne (French pronunciation: [bwɑ d(ə) bulɔɲ], "Boulogne woodland") is a large public park located along the western edge of the 16th arrondissement of Paris, near the suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt and Neuilly-sur-Seine. The land was ceded to the city of Paris by the Emperor Napoleon III to be turned into a public park in 1852.
It is the second-largest park in Paris, slightly smaller than the Bois de Vincennes on the eastern side of the city. It covers an area of 845 hectares (2088 acres), which is about two and a half times the area of Central Park in New York, slightly larger than Phoenix Park in Dublin, and slightly smaller than Richmond Park in London.

Perfect place for walk but at night have to be so careful... Not really safe and lots of people around working as sex worker) so not recommend to go there at night or alone.... But the park is really huge and you can enjoy riding bike or running around or some other sport activities.... Nature is so beautiful and if the weather is good you will really enjoy walking

This is a great place to visit if you have a very energetic dog, like me, that you want to give some freedom to run around, and get some of that hyper energy out of his/her system. You can either stay close to the road at the edge of the forest, or you can go deeper into it, and you will find some cool little lakes and other bodies of water. Every time I went here I did not find myself too surrounded by other people, which can be a nice change of pace sometimes, when living in a big city such as Paris.

We enjoyed a nice stroll through the park and then rented a rowboat for an hour (12 euros). We enjoyed the company of some ducks that followed us on the water and short views of the Eiffel tower

Such a beautiful park and view of the lake with a great spot for slacklining under the pine trees. There's also the Eiffel Tower playing peekaboo in the distance which looks great when it's lit up at night.

Good place for relaxation during weekend especially if the weather is good but there should be toilet that someone will supervise so that it will not use as free hotel There should be police roaming around too To control some indecent proposals in the area
