My favorite venue in Paris! Beautiful paintings, astonishing. Usually very crowded but totally worth it. A must when visiting France. Not too pricey. It is a fast visit.

So this museum was small but obviously a big attraction are Monet’s water Lillie’s which take up two large rooms. The lower level has temporary exhibits and more painters. I would say it’s good to stop by, especially if you’re a tourist and visiting the Eiffel Tower or the Ferris wheel right nearby, but I wouldn’t plan a whole day around it by any means.

After you have seen the most well-known and famous places in Paris it is worth to come here too. Much smaller than the Louvre and the d'Orsay but the two oval rooms with Monet's water lilies are a unique experience.

If you're in the area visiting the Louvre ,you might as well walk across the Tuileries and take a side venture to de l'Orangerie too! This is a lovely museum full beautiful paintings and natural light. The circular rooms with paintings at 360 experience are truly unique. From Monet to Renoir, Cézanne, and more this museum is a joyful experience. A must see for art lovers!

What a museum is all I got to say. Went today and saw a few works. From seeing Monet and the Water Lilies and some of Renoir’s work and of course the famous Picasso. Definitely a must Museum.

If you like smudged on a wall and blurry paintings then this small impressionist museum is right for you. Top floor is with Monet's large paintings.Lower floors feature realism, Picasso and others. It has also nice cafe with some snacks at reasonable prices.

Beautiful museum. It's a small one. Takes some 2 hours. But you can spend a lot of time just admiring the water lilies

It’s amazing to consider that the purpose was once used to hold some of the most valuable treasures: oranges and now holds priceless masterpieces. What it lacks in size, it makes up in absolute beauty and uniqueness. A hidden gem compared to some of Paris’ more popular tourist destinations

One of my favourite places to relax and feel yourself closer with art. The museum was designed together with Monet himself to hold the pictures in the best light possible. Recommended.

Beautiful art! Thought provoking special exhibition of works by Rothko, Kelly and one more all inspired by Monet's Water Lilies. It was very noisy in the Monet rooms in spite of staff requests for quiet.

What a great museum! It has Monet's water lilies on the top floor and other 19th century artists works on the bottom floors. Museum is small enough not to get burnt out after attempting to see everything. Yet it has a lot to offer. A must if you like impressionists. It wasn't crowded and you can buy combined tickets with d'Orsay.

Water lilies worth the price of admission. Enjoyed the small size of the museum, compared to the Louvre and Orsay. Felt like we could tackle the place without feeling overwhelmed.

Absolutely loved this museum. It was very calm/relaxing inside compared with other museums and some great pieces of impressionist/post-impressionist art (probably not somewhere to go if you do not like these styles). Monet’s Waterlilies are spectacular. We were able to get 2-for-1 entry with our Eurostar tickets.

The must see is Nympheas by Monet. There is also a less well known collection of impressionist paintings, more than 150 works. Beautiful building. Cafe is nice but cramped. Bookshop has very good selection.

The main attraction in this museum, is of course, Monet's Water Lilies. These pieces are beautiful and expand across the entire wall. The rest of the museum is decent, but the main reason to go here is for the Water Lilies.

Others had recommended it so we went for it and totally worth it. The full panoramic paintings of Monet were a delight especially a day before going to his gardens in Giverny. The collection downstairs was also impressive. Did not do the audio tour but can imagine it would be worth it.

A wonderful museum that shouldn’t be missed. We went to the museum to see the beautiful canvases of Monet’ water lilies but were just as please with the rest of the museum. Both the permanent collection and the temporary exhibit were fantastic. To see so many pieces of art that were held in private collection now displayed to the public (including a recreation of how they used to be displayed) is a great treat. Try to time your visit for when the crowds aren’t as big. The Monet canvases need to be appreciated from a distance to get the true scope of them. This isn’t easy if there are too many people in the rooms.

Truly stunning. You just have to see not only the museum but a small lake close and picnic area as well as enjoy a lakeside environment. There are also several trees along sidewalks that you can enjoy and walk through. The museum is absolutely stunning with the water lilies paintings. It was a unique experience.

The Location: Metro #1, 8 & 12, "Concorde". About few minutes walk to the museum. The Admission: 9 euro (included in the museum pass) This entirely refurbished museum houses Monet's Waterlilies and over 144 paintings! The Waterlilies has own special viewing room. The painting is just beautiful~ The size of the painting, the detail of the painting.... impressive!!

Stunning museum!! The selection is not too big, but there are significant works (Monet, Picasso) and it is well curated. Go in the morning to avoid crowds. I recommend going with a guide to get explanations of the main pieces. Would recommend and visit again!

Maybe one of the most peaceful museums I have ever been to, so try to be there at quiet times. Monet intended his water lily paintings to be a relaxation for stressed. Take his advise and walk along the painting so it’ll be as if you are walking by his pond. Marvellous experience.

Very nice.
