Impressive stained glass church. Go upstairs to see the tall stained glass windows. The circular stairs are tight and about 1 floor, too easy. Debatable on the cost to see, however the fact that there is no glass broken is amazing in itself. We spent less that 30 minutes here, point and shoot and move on.

10€ is a huge ripoff, but worth the visit. There's the lower chapel and the higher chapel (take the small spiral staircase on the entrance) but yes, the chapel itself is exhilarating and breathtaking. The stained glass, the gold details and the blue patterns on the ceiling are mesmerizing. It's beautiful and impressive but a really short visit because the place is really small, which is kind of a let down.

Actually absolute gorgeous church BUT, please get a ticket way before so you don't have to wait over an hour to get through security. Those stairs (like a snail, but typical) are hard to manage, so if you have any issues with age or motion, skip it. You will be sorry, but be safe.

One of the oldest cathedrals in Paris is definitely a must visit. It was so beautiful on the inside, much more impressive than Notre Dame; you can see it in less than an hour. The exterior’s facade is a little deteriorated; however, it is so impressive on the inside. The stained glass windows are the most important feature of this architectural feat: it has one of the most extensive 13th-century stained glass collections anywhere in the world. Loved it and cannot wait to visit it again!

An amazing piece of architecture, looking really modern (open and light) for Middle Age. The interior is finely decorated, both full of patterns and unique pieces of stained glass. Guiding tours don't cost extra and are definitely worth waiting! Plan to go there on a sunny day or you'll miss the colorful ligthing from stained glasses.

Not only is the exterior architectural design of the church something to marvel at, but so is its interior. With its stained glass windows, this place is one to really admire and take wonderful photos with. There’s some history behind this place as well and I find it fascinating how this place could still look so new and beautiful through its years of establishment. Visiting this church is a must when spending time in the beautiful city of Paris.

Beyond stunning, wall to wall stained glass. The wait to get it was 30 - 40 minutes on the street with the actual space being on the smaller side! Still, the walk up the steps into the second floor was literally gasp-worthy. I feel that more maintenance could be enforced in this incredible space - especially being that it neighbors the court house!

Definitely get the guided tour. I saw it twice without the tour and although the structure is beautiful, it is small and we were ready to leave in 15-20 minutes. With the tour you learn SO much about the history and architecture and you appreciate the building so much more! Go in the morning when the light is at its best on the glass.

Really really cool inside. But maybe only worth it if you have already gotten museum pass. I don’t think worth €10

If you have the time take a trip into this historic stop. I didn't realize how much history was in this Chapel. I won't go into detail in this review but I highly recommend you research this Chapel. We had a little extra time and I wanted to go into the prison where Marie Antoinette was and this is next door so we decided to drop in. We were very glad we did. Make sure and walk up the few steps to get to the top. It is stunning. They closed early around 5:15 I believe.

This "Royal Chapel" was completed in 1248, and housed French Kings/Royalty for its first 100+ years!! It is famous/world renown for its outstanding stained glass windows- fourteen large windows in all and the religious history conveyed within! The chapel was built to hold the relics of "the Passion of Christ". The hours that it is open to the public change over the course of the year, so check the web site to avoid disappointment. Also, it is advisable to purchase entry tickets in advance. I hope that this review has been helpful!.

Fascinating piece of History. If I'm correct these windows date back to the 13th century. The story of the scriptures is is told through the drawings in the windows so the average person could learn at that time. Books were less common. We stood in line for nearly three hours to get in but in my opinion it was worth seeing

Beautiful church - this was my favourite so far. It is being restored at the moment but there is still heaps to look at. Make sure you leave a donation to help with the refurbishment - it is a stunning church and has lots of good old bits to look at.

Breathtaking place in one of the best cities in the world. Visiting this was part of my walking tour around Paris, France. I spent around 15 minutes in this location. I really enjoyed my time here. I visited at a time when the level of tourism was middle to high. I highly recommend walking around here and enjoy the surroundings. 5 stars without question.

Amazing, brilliant, colourful stained glass creates a dazzling effect in the chapel proper. Down below in the entryway are beautifully-painted walls and ceilings. One can imagine the French royalty worshipping in here hundreds of years ago. A pity that the French Revolution destroyed the collection of relics, and that it is no longer in use as a church. Exquisite.

This is one of oldest churches of Paris. It's not the biggest or most famous, but in my opinion it is the most beautiful. The windows surround the main room and they are all stained glass that tells the story of the Bible. The towering stain glass windows are fantastic and impressive especially when one considers hour old they are.

Loved this church. When you first walk in it is very unassuming, but once you head up stairs it blows your mind. The massive stain glass windows that reach from top to bottom on all the walls give and amazing visual experience.

A truly magnificent place to visit! The light of the top windows are amazing! And the colours are a bonus! I recommend this for people of all ages. It would be even better if there was a bit more control over the tourists and the photos. Enjoy your visit there!☺️

Absolutely stunning historical church with amazing stained glass. During the summer (or whenever it would still be bright enough outside to get light through the windows) one great way to visit is to attend one of the evening classical music concerts. We paid more to sit up front, and while I've read elsewhere that this was unnecessary I don't regret it one bit. The downside to the concert visit is that you miss the lower floor chapel (which is interesting). Another upside to the concert visit is minimal queuing. If you can't do both visits, having done the regular tourist visit & also the concert, I preferred the concert ... the beautiful music certainly made the experience all the more special.

Absolutely stunning stained glass and excellent education pieces to go along with it. Relatively small in comparison to some other great sites to see but don't count this one out. Definitely worth the time to stop in and marvel at the beauty and learn about the fascinating history of this site.

Just the most incredible experience. I suspect those who didn't like it didn't go upstairs as the entrance to the second floor is very small/hidden. Just incredible that it was built 800 years ago nearly. Truly the best thing in Paris and the most amazing architectural thing I've ever seen

This is a beautiful church. So unique compared to other churches you can visit around the city. You walk into a small chapel directly underneath the main cathedral, then you walk up this cool spiral staircase for the big reveal of the glory of this church. A must do if you are in the area of Notre Dame.
