This is a very beautiful Buddha Temple located in Pattaya. It's a walk to uphill that the temple is located. The view from here of Pattaya city is very nice. Very soothing and Calming place. If you are done With The Walking Street. Then this is the place to calm you down. Must visit place for people who are looking for serenity and calmness.

An awesome spot for tourist and especially Buddhists. The scenery was beautiful as soon as you get there but there is a surprise if you climb all the way up top. Everything here is fill with spiritual connections and purity. A beautiful and sacred place. Definitely need to visit if you're in Pattaya.

Nice small temple with a stairway flanked by two seven headed Naga (giant cobra) leading to several interesting Buddha images and a nice view of the area. You can get a blessing from a monk and they will tie a string around your wrist to help keep in your new "good luck", you can also free birds from cages in the hopes of gaining Buddhist merit.

Small version of the so called “Big Buddha” (farangs do not know better). But do try to avoid the crowds of Chinese and Russian flooding the place at certain times, especially in High season. It felt quite commercially exposed, the Thai way to make money out of the even most sacred places while at the same time saving face and embracing religious traditions. Ladies: wear decent clothes, covering your knees and shoulders. No excuses. Men: avoid shorts and tank tops or the likes. Overall there are far better sites to visit religious sites with far more impressive statues. But if you happen to be around Pattaya, it’s worthwhile a short visit with good views on the city .

Cool looking statues, the big one is pretty impressive. It's free and there's a great view of South Pattaya behind the big Buddha. And it's free to visit!

Had a great time visiting Wat Phra Yai aka Big Buddha. I didn't expect it to be so big! I went there on a Sunday and lucky me it wasn't too crowded so I had the chance to take many pictures. I spent about 30 minutes there walking around so don't make it your only activity of the day... Add it to the city view at the top of the other mountain 5-10 mins walk from there. I did some 360° pictures if you want to have an idea of what it's like. Try it with VR goggles for a better experience!

Great place to visit for the temple as such and also to enjoy a panoramic view of pataya beach. Lively golden colour of the temple is an attraction. Ample parking available and public toilets are clean

Brilliant Buddha Idol atop a hill with magnificent views. The temple is atop a small hill accessible by small steps leading to the same. On the backside of the temple, one can view the ocean as well as the skyline of Pattaya City, especially the view of Pattaya Park Tower. Dragons adorn the flight of stairs. There are several Buddha idols here, depicting different forms. It's a soothing place to be

No ticket required. Enormous Buddha Statue and many other smaller statues here. If you enjoy something very Thai, this place is a nice choice. It's on a hill and you can't catch a taxi from here. So better deal price for a round trip with the driver.
