Elizabeth Quay is a mixed-use development project in the Perth central business district. Encompassing an area located on the north shore of Perth Water near the landmark Swan Bells, the precinct was named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II during her Diamond Jubilee.
The project includes construction of an artificial inlet on what was previously the Esplanade Reserve, and modifications to the surrounding environs including Barrack Square, with the project opening nine sites for potential development. Completed facilities were initially projected to include 1,700 residential apartments, 150,000 square metres (1.6Â million square feet) of office space and 39,000 square metres (0.42Â million square feet) of retail space.
A good place to spend the afternoon. Nice environment. You may love the belly bridge and the city view from there. There few places where kids can play. The beautiful scenery of the river along with gentle breeze might remove your tiredness. There are a lot of tour package sellers there. If you need any assistance of them definitely it is a good location particularly for those who want to visit Rottonest Island.

Nice attraction for tourists & locals alike. Pleasant walk & views across bridge. Great activities for kids - playground with sand, water & climbing fort/tower but not a lot of shade for kids or adults supervising (cafe right beside which is handy); water park which is all under cover, but unfortunately closed on Tuesdays (which was the day we went)! Also had mini golf & a merry go round set up around New Years. Plenty of eateries & watering holes to choose from.

Once the trees grow this will be a pleasant place. Not much shade at the moment though. Reasonable selection of foods, moderate to high prices. Occasionally there are pop up food and drink venues which add to the atmosphere. Timewise you probably not going to spend more time here than it takes to eat or walk through though unless you are there for one of the boat charters or experiences. There is a pretty decent small park for kids but it lacks shade and can be busy. Carousel in place when we visited which was reasonable at $5 each, adult or child. Further development underway which should improve it more. As for parking there is some further up the causeway which is a short walk. Public transport will also get you close with a station under the exhibition centre.

Just another fantastic feature of Perth. Great attraction for tourists and even for Perth nightlife in Summer. Attended some great events such as Embargo, Noodle Palace, Kegs by the Quay, Food Markets & Fringe Festival at Elizabeth Quay. Also docked up from a boat there to grab some ice-cream and love the ease and access of it all.

Even though there is quite a bit of building going on at present (new hotels) we thoroughly enjoyed our walk around Elizabeth Quay. Watching the ferries coming in from the Swan river (even gondolas!), seeing the Bell tower with its famous bells from Trafalgar square and walking across the Elizabeth bridge were just some of the things we enjoyed. If you like oysters, then a trip to the Oyster bar, with a view over the river, its oyster shots and oyster Bloody Marys, is a must.

Nice square with a lot of activities set up by local companies and the government. Beautiful lighting in the evening and during the day sometimes you can spot dolphins from the bridge in the river. Also a nice place to just relax and enjoy the view of East and South Perth over the river.

When the Towers are completed it will be an exciting place to live. The view up and down the Swan River will be spectacular no matter what side the apartment will be situated. Those fortunate enough to take up the offer will have some fine dining and casual places to visit.

Very beautiful place to experience Perth. At the night it looks so gorgeous that it really can make you crazy. Very stunning view. Walking there you understand that Perth is a very beautiful city. I like it!

Still continuing to disappoint. This just needs to be completed. It is dirty, the water is disgusting, and so much more needs to be done to make this people friendly. There needs to be more public toilets too. The water park is nice for kids and it's great so see that the city of Perth is trying to do something to get more families to go into Perth. Hopefully when everything is complete it will be better.

A place to visit and relax with extra ordinary sights surrounding you from all sides. Developed and created thoughtfully, between Central Business District, Perth and Swan River juncture, carries the charm of a metropolis and riverfront embracing each other, effortlessly, casting a magical spell on the visitors. Lot of food joints selling Burgers, Ice cream, snacks, even a Vegetarian restaurant "Anna Lakshmi" offering lunch and dinner with unique term of " Eat as you like, pay as you like" add to the charm of the place. A carousal for the kids, gift and souvenir shops, no. of other restaurants, a walking cum joggers bridge, sprawling lawns and beautiful steel arches complement and supplement the overall beauty and quant charm of the place. A must on the wish list of tourists and visitors to Perth, W. Australia.

With the carousel and other diversions it is a good spot to take the young ones as witnessed on our stroll. Gives you a good view of the city skyline and on a mild day is a nice spot to relax and watch the ferries & boats on the Swan. People were everywhere, yet it was not crowded. Allow time to explore further if visiting this area.

Still needs a lot more work, business, eateries and locations here before it'll be good. Usually quite quiet so it's nice to have a lazy afternoon stroll around to soak in the Perth weather & views. $13m for the water feature that really leaves a lot to be desired, like a whole lot to be desired.

Super fantastic place to visit. the winter wonderland for children is now open and loads of fun things to do. Also a great location for lunch burgers by the water, a ferry across to South Perth foreshore and a lovely stroll back into the city of Perth and great coffees.

A nice place to walk around in the heart of the city. Just be weary of anything involving water like the drink fountains and water playground because they have been found to contain led in the past. The shops around the quay are expensive and would recommend bringing food for a lovely picnic. You can get a quite nice view of the city.

Has the potential to be a great area when fully developed. Needs more cafes! Love the Swan River so a visit there is always pleasant. Certainly come a long way!
