A fantastic viewing spot of the city. Great open areas for picnics or jest relaxing. Wonderful walkways through botanical gardens. Restaurant and eating areas. Playgrounds for children including a relatively new adventure playground. Plaques that have been placed under trees along the roads showing respect and remembrance to those soldiers that have fallen. A must see spot if visiting Perth.

What is there not to love about Kings Park? There is something for everyone. Plenty of differently themed children and family fun parks, and BBQ and picnic areas, nature walks, Jacob's Ladder for the fittest and not so fit, but botanical gardens, treetop walks, and great views and of course a fine dining function centre that I have been to for a wedding that was simply exquisite. For the rest of us a great take away with all the Aussie family favourites. Even my pup loves traversing through the tracks. See something for everyone - Love it!

Kings Park is one of the largest and most beautiful inner city parks. It is a fantastic place to visit for all ages, from the views across the city and Swan river to the botanic garden walks and children's play areas. They also hold some great outdoor music events in the summer and there is an outdoor cinema. If you fancy doing some exercise, it's a great place to run, with the Kokoda Trail and DNA Tower adding an extra dimension to your workout! Alternatively, its a fantastic place to take a picnic and just relax.

If I could give 10 stars I would. You could spend days on end here and not get bored. Incredible variety of plants on show growing naturally and well taken care of. Lovely scenic views too and restrooms/drinking fountains abundant and strategically located. Peaceful and quiet. Tasteful and well kept memorials for fallen soldiers of wars gone by. Very educational too for people of all ages.

Absolutely amazing place. Lots of wildlife to photograph, the plant life is also stunning, so are the amazing views. Everyone should visit this place. You can also go there to view the sunrise! It's so pretty. You can come here with kids and other family to teach them about nature. There are also two decent restaurants to serve you if you get hungry.

As a local, how do you rate kings park? I can't imagine this city without it I would have had so many good times here over my life (and a couple of important bad times) If you a not from Perth, Kings Park is beautiful. And big, so there is a lot to see (or exercise through) from the popular spots, some of which seem to get renamed regularly based on corporate sponsorship, to natural bushland and some smaller war memorials that many people do notice so much. Do a dawn service for ANZAC Day if you get the chance. The view across the city and river is just amazing. All year. All weather. Just different types of amazing. There is a huge stretch of area with a great views, just amazing. If you get the chance to go to an outdoor concert in the bowl, do it. And the children's playground and lake area (that changes name with sponsorship) its a great family picnic location, and has been for generations. There is a great play ground for kids here (there used to be a much better one!! sadly I assume it didn't meet the changing safety expectations of modern life) a lake with an island and... Um dinosaurs. And as I mentioned earlier kings park is big, apparently the biggest inner city park in the world (sorry New York, I'm sure yours is impressive too) so there is definitely more I haven't mentioned yet (Like botanical gardens) but as I also mentioned, as a local it is hard to rate Kings Park, it just is.

It was amazing to stand so high up and be overlooking such wonderful and different views for miles. You could see all the skyscrapers in the City, the sea, the river and beautiful countryside. We climbed 101 steps to the top of the DNA tower and could see for miles. The gardens were beautiful with many exotic plants and flowers and their names were displayed. We spent quite a few hours here and know there was lots more that we didn’t see. There is also a cafe in the grounds that served snacks and drinks. Well worth a visit.

Family friendly park also good for all age group people, mind blowing view of Perth city, never mind at what time you go there the view is always spectacular. A very good location for photo shoots or simply for creating good memories. It has very good cafe with vegetarian option, I loved the velvet cake. Lots of plants, trees, foliage are there.

It's a very beautiful place, full of awesome trees, plants and flowers. One part of the garden is totally dedicated to the West Australia's plants and it is very quiet. The aboriginal gallery offer beautiful seeing of modern aboriginal art. There is also a very nice point of view on Elisabeth Quay from there. The park also have à Nice street food restaurant, toilets and other facilities. Just the best lane To chill out on sunday's afternoon ! If you are a tourist you must go there!

Kings Park is amazing and absolutely beautiful. It is such a lovely place for gatherings, birthday celebrations, picnics and to chill and relax with family and friends. The view of the swan river from here is just breathtaking. The day and night views are stunning so it is worth going there in the day and also at sunset to witness the night view when the city skyline lights up. It is a very respectful and serene resting space to commemorate the fallen Anzac heroes that is shared with the future generations in a safe and inspirational environment. You must visit Kings Park when you are in Perth. You will fall in love with this pace like many have :)

Beautiful place to wander with or without your lover or friend. Enjoy the view. Walk without worry through the lush gardens. The view down into perth city is just stunning, even more so when the night falls. Need a place to chill or get romantic? Look no further. Downside. Coffee and food is over priced but good quality for the most part.

Absolutely love this place. We have taken family and friends there every time they come and visit us. There are some great spots for picnics, great little walks all the way around the park. It is so beautiful in Spring with all the blooming flowers. Also, we love the work the volunteer tour guides do, it is so great to learn about this awesome park. There is easy access for prams, wheelchairs, plenty of spots for parking (although it can get a bit on weekends, public holidays and for special events. This is a must for anybody visiting Perth. To give some a bit of perspective, Kings Park is bigger than Central Park, NY!

Beautiful park. Areas for everyone. There is a proper restaurant and a couple of cafes for those that prefer their sight seeing with aircon. Plenty of areas for picnic blankets or chasing children (although we legitimately saw only adults). And of course there are the colorful and exciting gardens with views of Swan River and the harbor. We were only able to spend a couple of hours in King's Park and managed to see about half of the park at a quick pace. BIG BONUS there are several on sight parking areas all of which are free!

An amazing park with amazing areas to run, jump and play. Very much enjoyed taking my friends and their dog. Restaurants if you’re into that sort of thing, the eternal flame if you’re into that as well. It’s a great experience for all. The only thing I would mention is it’s very child friendly and can be hard to stay away from kids.

Absolutely lovely stroll taking in the Perth skyline and Swan River. The plants are out of this world - beautiful (we’re from America so very different than what we’re used to seeing). The park is very pristine and well maintained. Great gift shop that has lots of local made gifts, and a cafe for some quick food and drinks (pricey though, better to pack your own). We spent a few hours here, could easily have packed a lunch and done a few more. Great place to relax, reflect and connect with nature.

I absolutely loved Kings Park, it holds so much of Australia's history, they even recreated the kokoda track from the war. The flowers are beautiful and its a great place for photography. The kiosk is a bit expensive I guess it's okay because you can just bring your own picnic. It would be great to bring your family if you have small kids, they can run around and play, it's also great for a date maybe bring a picnic and some wine for a little added romance and then go on a walk and get to know each other. The workers there are really nice, overall 5 stars for everything a beautiful place to go, keep up the good work! :)

King's Park is a must for anyone on holiday in Perth or locals looking for a great picnic in the park. The views over the city and king's Park are amazing . Lots of trails for jogging or walking plus few playgrounds for the kids . Brilliant in spring for wildflowers for the camera lovers you can spend all day taking pictures. Nice restaurant and snack bar looking towards the city don't miss this park out .
