Yagan Square is a component of the Perth City Link in Perth, Western Australia. It is situated between the Perth railway station, Horseshoe Bridge and the Perth Busport in the eastern part of the Perth City Link precinct, occupying 1.1 hectares (2.7 acres). Construction of the square began in February 2016, and it was opened on 3 March 2018.
The design has taken into account the place of significance to the indigenous people on whose land it is being built, the Noongar people of Perth, as well as the lakes that used to exist under what is now the Perth railway station and Wellington Street.

Frankly I'd like to start by addressing the whinging one star reviewers on here. You guys are a pack of useless miserable morons. What was once a completely dead part of the city has been made into a nice new place. It links the city and Northridge beautifully, but all you lot can do is complain about the cost of food. It's Perth. Everything is expensive. It's not just Yagan Square. Is every business trying to afford rent here meant to offer dirt cheap food just for you cheapskates? Do us all a favor and keep your one star nonsense to yourselves. Now to my actual review. Yagan square is a very welcome addition to Perth. Walking through there it genuinely feels new. Not just because everything is still shiny, but because it's nicely designed and feels fresh. I especially like the fact that you can be here at night, and not feel like you're about to be stabbed. It's spacious and well lit. I look forward to seeing the rest of the area developed, as the empty lots as they are bringing the area down a bit. Overall, I like it.

They've done a great deal if work linking the city to Northbridge. Follow the water up the side to come to a viewing platform and a little ones play area. Better than Elizabeth Quay. More cafes, more shade.

Nice development. Interesting mix of food places here. Toilets and maintenance need to be reassessed. Please install covered bins in the parents room. The smell once you walk in is horrendous.

Awesome job on finally connecting Perth City with Northbridge. Looks great with lots of areas to sit down and relax as well as many eating locations. There is also children’s playground. The upper level gives you a good view of the surroundings.

It's small and only two places to eat and have a drink (one hidden down the side alley), but the area provides space enough to support cultural events and is in its infancy so look forward to seeing it grow and change with time.
