Really great historic stop. All of the staff, guards, and national parks rangers are excellent. The security is rather through but managed well. I definitely suggest coming in the off season. There are still lines to cue though, but not too bad. During peak season you should either pay for timed tickets or be ready to wait a really long time. Still totally worth it, and surrounded by lots more to see.

Do you like history? Do you love America? Then be sure to check out this historic American landmark on your visit to Philly. I come here frequently and play tourist with my guests and sometimes the line is long, but the museum is set up so nicely and provides some good mini history lessons on the walk back to see the Bell.

There's not much to see other than the Liberty Bell itself. But the visit is free and it's an interesting glimpse into the origins of American liberty. The museum has a number of insightful posters that sheds light on what happened, and when it happened. I'd recommend this if you have time to spare.

I think I went on the coldest wet day I could. The girl at the counter gave me a discount because of it but I have to tell you it would have been worth the full price. We as a nation somehow truly forget where we came from. It amazes me how we could come to a an agreement on the most important document, the most important liberties, the most important foundation, yes with argument, with compromise, and many times with complaint and loss of life. Today we can't even pass a bill that looks out for the majority... What has happened to the common good? After going through everything from the liberty bell, the Constitution hall and on and on I was humbled, proud, happy and ashamed oh how we have evolved... A place I will visit again though... I don't want to forget.

I absolutely love all the sites to see here. Independence Hall is the 👑 Jewel of the entire park, though they have many other fascinating little museums and sites to see. I'm not a huge fan of the city itself... a little larger, busy, and dirty for my taste (boy do I sound like an old grumpy man!) but visiting the park is well worth getting into the city.

We waited in line early to get tickets for the Independence Hall tour because they booked out online early. We got to see the birthplace of America and where the Declaration of Independence was signed. Our tour guide gave us a great history lesson which was short but very interesting. As for the liberty bell we went 2 different days but the line was out the building down the street So we didn't get to see it up close. We did get a decent view of it from a side window that has an automated system that explains the history.

The Liberty Bell was easier to see than getting into Independence Hall. We lucked out. A large tour canceled at the last minute and we were able to get in. It was totally worth it. Our tour guide was the best. She even shares her own copies with her co-workers of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Very cool experience.

Independence Hall is very big located in Philadelphia.. visitors are not allowed inside.. former capital of United States of America. Liberty Bell is located opposite to Independence Hall and the Independence Hall visitor center is located at the opposite side of the Independence Hall and head lot of shops inside it.. many visitors come here to see the Independence Hall and the liberty Bell.. there is a statue of liberty near Independence Hall which is very beautiful.. there is an automated voice near liberty Bell which tells about the history of the liberty Bell in many international languages.

The birthplace of American Independence. The history that is in these halls is something that all should experience at least once. It is a wonderfully preserved national landmark and the volunteers who take groups through the guided tours are incredibly knowledgeable, and the tale they tell about the birth of America is both moving and profound. Forget what you learn in school, and get first hand experience in Independence Hall. Walk the very threshold that our Founding Fathers did, and gaze on the room, the table, where the documents that build this Nation were drafted. The experience here is truly remarkable. Wait times for groups aren't too long, just know that the free tickets to get in are handed out at the visitors center a block away, so plan that out in advance. Once you get in, the volunteers tell the great story they have to share, and offer a few moments to take photos in each room before continuing on. I highly recommend making the trip to Philadelphia and making sure that you plan for Independence Hall.

Park that includes the Constitution Center the Liberty Bell in the original Independence Hall. Independence Hall requires time tickets so you have to get there early in order to get those or you can get a few of them online or is there for a small fee. Most of them are given out at the start of the day though, so get there early. Liberty Bell is free just have to go through security and wait a little while Independence Center has a fee, but has little bit of History a lot of school tours. Well I have a little bit of a great that you can't reserve more tickets online, this is a good place for people to learn a bit about American history and get a picture with the Bell. There's also parking lot under the park we have three levels so you should be able to find parking at most days. And it's relatively reasonable for price as it goes for the area downtown.

What a wonderful little place to sit and enjoy life. Very clean . Very relaxing. Grounds are quite well maintained and was quite pleased to notice an absence of dog waste . Always a plus. The weather and the view during my visit were spectacular. And I will definitely come relax here again

Chinese lantern festival was just breathtaking and WONDERFUL...!! No two ways. Cannot describe the beauty of lanterns but icing on cake was the show presented by Chinese artists which was incredible to say the least. Food seemed very decent and crowd was relishing it as well. Ambience overall was marvellous. A must enjoy evening at the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern festival.

A must do if you're in Philly! The history here is incredible. Very close to many other historic areas. It's a nice area, I went by myself and didn't feel unsafe. The staff is knowledgeable and answers questions professionally.

A great place to visit. We visited back in March. So much history and interesting information to discover. The lines were expected but moved along quickly in 20. Minute give or take intervals. Also in such close proximity to the Liberty Bell and other sights in Philadelphia you can easily get to them in a quick walk. We are excited to come back for another visit with the family. There are a few reasonable parking lots a few blocks away that make it an easier trip.

The birthplace of America. What more needs to be said. Every American & most foreign visitors should spend AT LEAST A FULL DAY exploring history in this wonderful historical park. Enough sites, activities, & related museums to provide up to 3 days of interesting things to see & do. And that's not counting all the wonderful attractions & museums throughout the rest of Philadelphia, a fabulous easily walkable city. Highly recommend the historical park & the city that is its home. Just go; you won't be disappointed.

We were there for the Chinese Lantern festival. On the last day, the weather was fantastic and the crowds showed up! Despite the large attendance, it never felt crowded. Chinese performers were very good. Or course, all of the displays we're beautiful (check my posted photos). A very nice event. Peaceful park atmosphere. Looking forward to next year.

Everything was well kept, clean, and laid out in such a way as to let people see everything they had to see. I wish the memorial closest to the Liberty Bell entrance was a little more open, but you may have been meant to go inside it and appreciate what was inside rather than seeing it from a little distance. Families were everywhere, everything is in great condition, and I can't wait to go back and visit some of the museums in the buildings we missed.
