Amazing! My daughter takes art for her major and just loved seeing the statues. They also leave sketch books in areas for artists to leave their work. My daughter added her work to them. Just a beautiful place to visit.

It's a wonderful little museum. Despite its small size, I spent about an hour here. I was lucky that a guided tour had just started. The guide was excellent at explaining the artwork. I don't think they do them often (or maybe just for groups?), but having the guide made the experience much better. I look forward to returning in the spring or summer and seeing the garden in bloom. Also, $20 gets you a two day pass to here, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Perelman Building. Definitely worth it.

This is a small and very focused museum. It only contains sculptures by Rodin. However, the range and diversity of the exhibits is impressive and shows just how varied was the work of Rodin. Allow an hour to fully explore the museum. You can get a ticket in combination with the Philadelphia Museum of Art which is nearby.

My sister and I receently visited this 'not quite as popular' Philadelphia museum. I like to consider it one of Philadelphia's better kept secrets. In addition to the Thinker, there are secret other casts to admire. This museum is the perfect place to visit because if is a smaller offering of some of Philadelphia's best art. Its grounds are immaculately kept and it is a great place to meet up and have a picnic.

They had enough seats everywhere despite the small size of the museum, and sketchbooks lying around for drawing. Beautiful garden too. Could improve the merch area tho.

Nice place to escape the city noise. It has a good collection of works by Rodin, with a tranquil garden space that is specially beautiful with the flowers and birds brought out in spring.

I wasn’t able to formally go into the museum due to timing and spending way too much time in the art museum, but it was right next to our Airbnb so I walked through the grounds a lot. It was spring and lovely. This is on my list to visit when I am in town next!

Great museum with a wonderful collection of sculptures with a good write-ups on most to help you better appreciate the art. I didn't know much of Rodin before going and was able to fully enjoy the experience.

Nice museum but rather small; if you are in the area be sure to visit but not sure I would trek across town just for it alone

If your fan of Rodin you have to come over here it's a biggest collection of Rodin, you can see a lot of it his statue very nice, they build the museum or just for him so he says his style before you get in it's a huge door in bronze wonderful, if you got the Philly pass you got in for free otherwise you have to pay the ticket, this is some other beautiful Museum that you can find in Philadelphia

The Rodin Museum in Philadelphia is a gift to the city from a native philanthropist and his wife. What a jewel. It is built on prime real estate in Central downtown Philly. It has some of Rodin's famous sculptures, including the Doors of Hell, the Kiss, and others. Well worth a visit and next best thing to going to Paris.

Beautiful pieces! Great little exhibit with some very knowledgeable guides. I could spend hours in here looking at just a few pieces. There is a full room exhibit as well. Bronze sculptures are awesome!

An absolutely stunning place to spend 1 hour regardless of the season. Wonderful collection of sculptures, most of them with a good write-ups. Garden is amazing and so peaceful, I was there in a spring, guess that’s the time when flowers and birds make it even more tranquil. Recommend!

Beautiful museum, we got there just as it opened up so it was very quiet inside. The Gates of Hell were beautiful and profound. The whole area is wonderfully designed and maintained. Definitely worth going out of your way to goto and ponder the works of Rodin.

This is a beautiful museum with dramatic works by Rodin and the occasional other sculptor. It was very enjoyable and the art was very good, but I wasn't floored the way I expected to be. I think Rodin's art is about emotion and idea. It's as if the hands of each sculpture are speaking whole sentences. But only the most critical details of most sculptures are filled in, the rest left almost brutally rough or omitted entirely. The beautifully smooth sculptures are all other artists copies of Rodin's originals. The only other Rodin exhibition I've seen is the figures from hell at Stanford U in California and it left me with a similar feeling of ambiguity. Maybe it's that both fall short of the tales of the beauty of the Musée Rodin in Paris. Don't get me wrong, the price is right (donate what you want) and there are great works here, well worth seeing, in a lovely garden setting and beautiful building. Just not as mind blowing as I had expected.

Very nice museum. I agree with one of the reviewers, the collection is minimal, so that's the only downside, but other than that I enjoyed myself. The sculptures are beautiful. This is a great outing for friends and family or even a date.

Possibly the smallest museum I've had the pleasure of visiting. The ticket is covered under the Philadelphia Museum of Art which also gives you access to the Perelman building over a two day period, so it makes sense to stop by. The grounds are nice and beautiful in the spring with cherry blossom trees but not so much in the summer. The indoor portion of the museum itself can be covered in less than 20 mins and includes specifically only sculptures by Rodin as should be obvious.

This is a beautiful exhibition. These sculptures really come alive. They transmit a lot of emotions. It is something very special and absolutely worth seeing.
