A pretty red bridge on the Hoan Kiem Lake which can be extremely busy and packed with tourists. The lake is a must see if you're in Hanoi. Go for a stroll around it, you can take lovely photos of the bridge and experience a true picture of how the locals spend their free time here. Interesting to see the bustling city life on one side of the street and the peaceful "green island" on the other.
Lively area to just walk around, sit and observe the Vietnamese people do their day to day things, get photographed or do the photography and lots of vendors around to buy food and fruits from.
Beautiful bridge on Hoan Kiem lake. It's the centre of attraction in Hanoi and it's a must to visit. It's surroundings are bustling with activities especially on the weekends where roads around it are closed to cars at night
Crowded at the day time, hard to get a photo shoot where nobody in it. I went again at the night time, this time round view is better. Not that crowded, you can take your sweet time to get an angle of best shot. Besides, night view seems better as in lights shoot on RED bridge, adding points to the scene.
Not much more than a bridge but it is a famous symbol of Hanoi. Beautifully illuminated at night, there is a walking street on Saturdays, so it's less noisy and you can hear calm music playing next to the bridge - chill spot.
Beautiful wooden bridge connected to a temple. No entrance fee for the bridge but a small fees charged for entering the temple. Can be very crowded on the weekend. It was lit during night time and has a different feels, not accessible at night though.
