Very good. Very interesting plenty to see and all ages will enjoy and kids an parents could go on a bike ride there
No facilities and a tiny carpark. However the site is very pretty and is developing all the time. You get fantastic views over the river, showing both Liverpool and the Wirral. The paths are gently sloping and should be suitable for pushchairs or for people who have difficulty walking. Lots of wildflowers and the air is full of birdsong, with butterflies and bees everywhere.
Only just found out about this place lovely area great views nice and peaceful great for a few hours out take a picnic only bad thing was some people had not picked up there dogs mess despite there being signs and bins everywhere no excuse for it
A great place to come for a relaxing walk. Views across the Mersey are just superb. Look out for the occasional fox in the undergrowth next to the lake, great to see!
Such an amazing use of space. This place is massive and it's an amazing place to bring the dog. The views at the summit are amazing at any time of day but look even better during a sunset! There's plenty to be seen while walking around. Love bring the dog here for long walks!
Spent a good couple of hours here quite easily. I was amazed how well established it looks after such a relatively short existence, lots of birds around and from the noise coming from the reed bed the lake is host to lots of bird life too. As well as the wildlife there were great views across the Mersey in one direction and Wirral the other, the Welsh hills were also visible in the distance. There were plenty of benches around but not many litter bins. I will definitely visit again soon.
Lovely quiet place if you fancy. a. walk and have some quiet time . If birds interest you .Its a good place to go . A picnic area is available. With good views Only draw back perhaps is No tea or coffee available. Is this a good thing OR bad .NOT SURE realy Terrific. views. From the summit off the mersey.
A great transformation of an old landfill site. Fabulous views across to Liverpool. A haven for birds. Suitable paths to walk around and easy access for wheelchair uses.
No methane today due to cold windy weather. Often go if I need a quick break from the City. Great panoramic view of River Mersey & Liverpool skyline. Recommended.
Since it's opening in 2024, I have been celebrating my weekly visits for a walk in the park. There are many more activities very interesting as well . Give it a try
Great place for walking the dog and the views over Liverpool are amazing. This morning was sunny but cold but spent 2 hours leisurely strolling and chatting to people. Recommended for all families and dog walkers alike. Plenty of benches and plenty of poop bins
