What a fascinating, unique place to visit! The education team are really passionate, whether volunteers or not. The exhibits are all findings from the Mary Rose that tell us so much about life in the Tudor times as well as educating about the procedures of marine archaeology and reconstruction to get a clearer picture of people on board. Highly recommended for everyone.

A fantastic exhibition with lots of interactive displays plus engaging volunteers who explain various aspects of the ship (our 2 boys particularly enjoyed hearing about the Surgeon Barber and his tools). The way the ship is displayed is magnificent and really well thought out. Well worth visiting and it could easily take a couple of hours to soak up the history.

I have wanted to visit for the longest time and I am so glad we got to today. We bought our all attraction family ticket beforehand and saved some money and the ticket is valid for a year. We began at the Mary Rose Museum and all thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the museum. We continued our visit with the HMS Victory and an indoor interactive experience aimed at the children. These three exhibits and lunch took nearly 6 hours. A great day out.

A fantastic and extensive collection of artefacts recovered and displayed in detail with excellent information. The ship itself, which is now fully visible is amazing, you are definitely transported back in time. Would recommend buying multiple attraction tickets as much better value.

It never really appealed to me seeing part of the structure sprayed with water, but how wrong could I be ? The structure is now treated so doesn't need to be sprayed and presented in a really imaginative way to give you some idea of it's size - visual projections enhance the experience. Although I don't believe in ghosts, the lighting , sounds and display created a slightly spooky atmosphere when you consider it went down taking 500 sailors with it, but this was due to the skill of the museum designers. In short, well worth a visit and I will definitely go again.

Brilliant, awe inspiring, fantastic, insightful and unique. Bring your children, parents and all...except the dog. Cannot recommend more highly and the ticket is valid for a return visit or three. Did I mention that this is brilliant? Just go, you won't regret it.

I wasn't really keen going there but once we were inside, it was amazing ! The museum got a huge part of the ship and there is a video projection on it like how it had/would have been with people in that ship. This ship has so much history and you can easily spend hours looking at the objects or paintings. It was definitely worth the money. I would recommend to buy tickets for this museum and the spinnaker tower together.

I last saw Mary Rose was the year after she was recovered through a mist of water. What a transformation, she is now upright on her keel and preserved. The layout of the museum and the interpretation of life on this Tudor ship is inspired and inspiring. The ship is fantastic, but the day to day lives of those who served on her is fascinating. A must see if you are in Pompey.

Very good, impressive museum. Staff are very friendly and love to talk to you about ships so don't be shy. Lots of interactive bits for kids and the ship and display room are jaw dropping. Must see if you're in the area.

Spent hours here. Great experience and found it truly inspiring. Atmospheric and engaging and ticket valid for a year. Loads to see and the personalized information is brilliant. The amount of artifacts recovered is amazing.

We all enjoyed this visit. (All adults) The ship is so well presented, the costumed guides are most informative. There is too much to see in one visit, so many items found and beautifully preserved and presented. We had a year ticket purchased last year ( thanks Tesco) so got in without payment, but even though we would like to go back to see more we feel the now £16 charge over and above an annual pass is a real deterrent, not a case of affordability for us but a value for money issue. So if you do pay that make sure you stay and enjoy the full experience.

Saw it years ago whilst being sprayed. Revisited now and SO much better. Stunning projection of videos into hull, alternating with various lighting conditions. View from top level without glass intervening. Themed cabinets full of well explained articles. Highly recommended

Utterly unique and amazing experience. Over 19k artifacts that show Tudor life in detail. Glorious exhibits including cannon, medical equipment, reconstructions. Entry price very reasonable and good for a year. Right next to Victory. Brilliant.

This is an absolute must for anyone interested in English history. Absolutely fascinating. OK it seems pricey but don't forget it is not government funded and you are supporting masters and PhD level research in what is a rare opportunity for 1500s history. The personal stories of the crew is fascinating and explains how the stories have been put together from the evidence. Try to see one of the great TV programmes on YouTube before you go to fully understand the uniqueness and importance of this find.

Well worth a visit. Museum and all areas very accessible for all physical abilities and ages. Exhibits well thought out, engaging, inspiring and thought provoking. I would allow 2-3 hours but it could be more or less depending on how much you spend at all the exhibits or if you skim view.... Your choice. There is no onsite parking but there is some near by but you then need to walk a fair way. There is a cafe as part of the museum or a bigger restaurant on site and a short walk away, it serves good food at what i think it's reasonable value.
