This was an amazing experience. We booked an English guided tour online and no one else did for the time we chose so we were able to enjoy a private guided tour 😉 All the halls inside are amazingly beautiful with each having their own unique decoration. A surprise is waiting for you in the Mayor’s Hall which I enjoyed. You have to pay 55CZK first before you are allowed to take photos and I recommend paying for it as the rooms are worth it.

Absolutely amazing place. Architecture is beautiful and the acoustics provided by the high ceilings were superb! A definite must see when visiting Prague. The setting for the orchestra was incredibly intimate and made for an outstanding evening. When I next visit I will definitely be doing this again!!

This is THE place for highest quality traditional Czech cuisine. Downstairs Bohemian Restaurant has beautiful ambiance and decor and the food is top notch. Staff is gracious, and polite. Pricey but we'll worth it.

Beautiful old community building in the centre of Prague. We visited for as part of a corporate event, and most of the building, including the main hall and, foyers, and ante and reception rooms were in use. Whilst some of the rooms look a bit tired, and past their former glory, it is still an impressive place to be for an evening out. If you are booking a band for the main hall, or looking to perform there, be aware that it is a large room, with a high, vaulted ceiling and little furnishing to baffle the noise, so the sound can be lost in this large room.

A beautiful historical building - you definitely have to see a concert here, it's amazing. We were lucky enough to see the Prague Philharmonic New Year's Eve concert. Buy tickets online otherwise you'll be lining up for a long time.

Stunning building, I did not take the tour, just walked around - went in for two exhibitions. Both were nice, a bit expensive in comparison to other galleries. The exhibitions change, so check out if it's to your taste. Have a look at the architecture and get near to the details

Beautiful concert hall. We saw Gabriella Benakova and the Czech symphony orchestra who were great. The hall itself is well maintained, drinks and coat check reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

I visited here to attend the opening concert of Prague Spring; Prague International Music Festival. Listening to 'My Country' of Smetana from Smetana Hall in this Municipal House was an amazing experience. Hope to visit this beautiful place again.

Great experience seeing vavaldi played live, the only gripe is MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR TICKET WHERE IT IS. I assumed when I purchased tickets that we would be in the main hall as the seating chart the gentleman showed us had all the seating on it. Low and behold It was in a much smaller side theater. I'm not saying that I didn't like the performance in anyway, I actually found it fun as the musicians had a funny dynamic about them as they played. But I just wish we had been located in the main hall. Oh well I'll be back soon enough.

Awesome Victorian building and Smetana concert hall where I heard & saw the opening concert of the Prague Spring International Music Festival featuring the awesome Ma Vlast / My Homeland symphonic poem by Bedrich Smetana performed the Czech Philharmonic; a lifetime experience for me. The magnificent interior could use better ventilation and air conditioning. It was embarrassing to have to scrounge up 50 crowns to buy a program leaflet after having paid over 3 000 crowns for a ticket.

Rip off Prague. ! Love the chocolate cake. The concert was a bit of a rip off. Description leads you to thinking it's in the main hall but really in a smaller side room with seven musicians and not an orchestra. Seats were so crushed together I could see people had to overlap shoulders just to fit on the hard tiny chairs that were packed in so tight. I haven't been this uncomfortable for a while so hot and claustrophobic with really hard chairs.

The large dining room in the American bar downstairs is worth a visit. Not expensive for a central location and an interesting room.

I saw a preference here, the venue is beautiful. The orchestra was very pleasing to listen to. It was nice change of pace to spend an evening in this way. Not a huge fan of classical music, so I was not sure how the night was going to turn out. I thought it was fantastic.

The Municipal House is an extraordinary jewel of Art Nouveau in Prague, and surprisingly understated by all guides and tours. The outside, on two sides, is a true Art Nouveau landmark, with numerous details that are worth long and detailed attention. Its architectural link to the Gothic construction next door is amazingly well conceived. Who would have thought they could reinforce each other with such different styles? As for the interior, it is stunning. The entrance, Smetana Hall, the several restaurant and bars--- all are worth exploring. Look for surprises everywhere, in the corners, stairs, sides... Truly an amazing surprise for us. We liked it so much we visited it three times on three different days. Warning: very difficult to photograph, in particular for the outside because of difficult angles. Don't leave your lenses at home. The gift shop, seemingly always deserted, has some great design items, in a city where cheap tourist junk is too common.

Phenominal venue. We watched a classical music, ballet, soprano combination concert. The venue was so wonderful. There is AC and the views are great. There may be no nad seats in the entire theater.
