Really interesting place telling the story of operation anthropoid. Two hours went by in a flash. So sad that so many died.
A very nice church that has been restored to its pre-war beauty. It played a big part in Operation Anthropoid. Don't miss seeing the two trap doors to the crypt below and don't miss the museum below.
Since seeing Operation Daybreak YEARS ago and Anthropoid recently have always wanted to visit here. What bravery those men had and what a credit to their country and indeed us all. Museum gives full record and the crypt is heartrending
A very disappointing and expensive walking tour. No need to spend 3 hours walking around the town having to listen to a guide who was reading out information from her IPad in a monotonous and unclear voice. In the Cyril and Methodius church and the Crypt however there were more than sufficient and well -presented facts photos and short films. A very interesting presentation indeed!
I wasn't expecting much when I entered the crypt, but the museum and tribute to the anti Nazi resistance was very detailed and vivid. Visit and pay tribute to the 6 heroes who made their last stand in this very church and to the thousands who lost their lives trying to protect their freedom
