Great walk in the woods. Can see monkeys. Recommend it
Great place to visit with our little one. Saw some lizards and lots of birds. Nice contrast to the beach scene!
More of a nature trail than my expectation of a botanical garden. Beautiful non the less. Bug spray and good shoes are a must.
Off the beaten path, easy to miss. Safe, leisurely walk through jungle paths, with sites along the way. Cool rope bridge, Mayan ruin, native plants, wide and winding paths and other surprises!
What a fabulous botanical park. Once you get in it’s a small entrance fee and laminated map that guides you through the park becomes your guide. Some small exhibits along the beginning of the route that are a nice touch but not the main course. Once you get off the real park road and into the jungle the park really opens up. Take your time, and enjoy a pristine piece of nature outside of the tourist trouble that is the rest of riviera maya. The trek is extremely light and can be done with toddlers and kids. Sneakers are recommended however as the path gets a little bumpy, think a stroll through the inner woods. We had no issue with mosquitos but I would not guarantee that luck for anyone. Animal wise we were unlucky and did not spot any spider monkeys but the trek is worth it on its own. Lots of other animals can be observed. Take your time !
This is a wonderful park with very few people. There are well maintained trails and a waterfall, Mayan ruins, a hanging bridge with two Towers and lots and lots of nature! I went because I am a bird watcher and I was not disappointed! Many monkeys there too. Please if you are at all considering going there GO as it is well worth it and I really do believe in the conservation work this place is doing :)
moskitos moskitos moskitos, one spider monkey
Beautiful botanical garden. Well maintained. Lots of cute Iguanas and playful monkeys in the trees. Great hanging bridge with stunning view. A must-see is you are in Puerto Morelos!
