I love this place ! It is large enough to have all you need for entertainment, but small enough to be personable. A little more crowded at this time of year, hence the missing star. A few problems in the resort, but not in the staff. They are stupendous!

I was a little nervous about spending a week here because we are used to cruising and thought we might be bored, trapped on a resort. After 7 nights, I was no more ready to leave than I was the first day we arrived. This resort is in the PERFECT location. The buses and the taxis are constantly running. Puerto Vallarta is one of the safest cities I've ever encountered. I would have no problem navigating the bus system, any time, day or night, as a single woman. We got a sweet deal because we agreed to attend a sales pitch. While we aren't really time share people, we will definitely consider staying there again if the price is right. We did all inclusive. Not sure I would pay for that because to eat gourmet meals outside of the resort is actually cheaper. We ate many meals there, but ate as many out. By my calculations, it's less expensive to eat off the resort. A 7.50 pesos bus ride (.40) will get you down to the Malecon (Pier) where the town is electric. There is so much to see and do here. The resort has deals with many companies offering everything from the many thrilling zip line courses to romantic, relaxing activities such as Rhythms of the Night. The staff is friendly, attentive and efficient. A couple of nights the restaurants were super busy and appeared to be a tad understaffed, keeping us longer than we'd expected, but for the most part, service was nice. This is an older property...Some people have been coming there for years, you can sense the camaraderie among guests. The Villa Group has built another property to the North at Flamingos Resort. We went there for the presentation. While it was beautiful, it did not seem to have the character of the tried and true, Jalisco property. I could go on and on...I will return.

What can I say- a resort I call home. The staff are amazing,location is great with shopping at your fingertips, bus right out front to take you in either direction whether it's downtown or to other smaller communities The resort offers several evenings of great entertainment. You can be busy all day if you want- yoga, water aerobics, water or sand volleyball or you can just enjoy the sun around the pools or on the beach. The perfect home away from home ❤❤
