Our whole family absolutely loved the show. My husband uses a wheelchair for long distances and there was no lift to get to the show, only a flight of stairs. The performers took him down slowly to be seated whilst we all waited outside. Our boys loved seeing their culture. Truly amazing people!!
Fun, fast, cultural experience - it was nice to get a taste of Maori culture. They start with a welcome ceremony, then sing a couple of songs, then the women in the audience learn a dance, then the men in the audience learn some of the Haka and they end with a couple more songs. It's a little nerve-racking to perform on the spot but realize everyone is in the same boat and go along with the experience.
"Kiwi Haka" is a good show. I just wish it was a little longer. Come early to allow time for the gondola ride. Also, there will be audience participation.
Busy but getting into a gondola was pretty efficient.
Brilliant entertainment and education!
