This was THE coolest jet boat ride ever! We had a blast the entire time. They provide ponchos and neck warmers (we went in spring and it was freezing!) and we bought super affordable mittens. The hand rails in the boat are heated too! Plus you get to keep the neck warmers as a souvenir! They get you within 1 meter of the canyon walls which is exhilarating. It was fun to learn a bit about the canyon too. The water and views are beautiful and despite any weather at all it's worth every minute. If you are in this area, do this activity!

Stunning experience that leaves you ready for another ride! The jet boat ride was an amazing experience that even those who own and drive their own boats will be amazed at. The boats scream through narrow canyons and skim over shallow water as if gliding on ice. When they spin around it's always amazing the control they have in coming out just where they wanted. Those in the front right side get the best shock value as they are closest to the canyon walls and get splashed a bit more. The ride in a total of 35min and might seem expensive but the quality of the boats and the effort that goes into safety make it worth the price.

Truly exciting ride down the Shotover River! Shotover Jet features 25-minute jet boat rides through the Shotover River Gorge, complete with G-Force inducing 360-degree spins. The highly professional drivers skim the surface of the river through nearly-impossibly shallow water, barely miss rocks and boulders, and overall provide an excellent experience. This attraction is only about a 10 minute bus ride from downtown Queenstown, meaning that you can ride the Shotover Jet and return in less than 90 minutes, door to door. Overall, this is a can't-miss Queenstown attraction! Highly recommended!

Quite pricey, around 150$ per person. Great staff and also nice history lesson. Guide was really nice and crazy. Not possible to go with cameras or phones but you can purchase your album for 45$. Good experience but experience tho. Enjoy

Better than expected and I had high expectations. We were lucky enough to get seats up front and have a nice sunny day. It's awesomely scary how close they get to the boulders and Clif face, but you feel well looked after and safe. Do it...

It's good for people who are scared of the more adrenaline pumping stuff I guess... me and my husband found it only okay. The views are great and the ride is overall nice. But it was really tame considering that its labelled as a "thrill inducing" ride and for its high price tag.

Great experience for all ages. Staff takes care of you with all the safety, instructions, life jacket and a poncho (optional). I'd recommend to take the poncho to keep your clothes dry. There's a small chance if youre on the side that your feet could get wet too.

The ride was quite thrilling and fun. The driver Joe is very professional. I would recommend sitting in the back on side to feel the full force. And the front seats for the faint hearted.

The reception guys are very nice and helpful. The place is well organised so you can't get lost. The schedule was attended on right time. The ride is very nice and a great adventure, it goes very close to the rocks (😱) but the pilot showed total control over the boat. Really nice adventure but, in my opinion, a little expensive.

What an awesome experience. This jet boat ride is fantastic! It is a little pricey but totally worth the cost. We had Phil as our driver and he was not only professional and skilled at driving the boat through the tight canyon but he was also friendly and provided us with some great entertainment. A really fun activity to do while in Queenstown!

A must do in Queenstown! Best jet boat ride around bar none. It's not 'high' adrenaline but still a good rush. Great scenery, location, fast boats, and an awesome driver. SUPER COLD!
