Beautiful, peaceful place. I love to visit it so much more and more. Nothing changes from my childhood. The same grumpy lady who is take care of the place :) good place, must visit, that is part of Latvian and specialy Jurmala history.

Very interesting museum in pine forest. It’s free and hardly anyone even on weekends. After the tour, walk through the forest to 36. Line restaurant by the beach. You could get to this part of Jūrmala by Taxify from Riga or somewhere in Jūrmala, affordable.

There are things to see, but it's for 25 min of your time. Is it worth it? - Kind of yes, if you like houses and boats from the first half of 20th century.

Small but interesting place in very nice area. Admittance is free. Little parking lot close by. Few wooden sheds / a ropes workshop, a fishermen house, few smaller boats and couple of bigger ones. Picnic place is available for rent. Visitors were not allowed to enter inside the house and workshop - just look through the open windows and dooors. Access to the biger boats was closed too. We wisited the place in June, weather was very nice but it was lot of mosquitoes so repellent would be very usefull. Place is close to the seashore, which is not as crowded as main Jurmala beach. Couple of trails going to different places. Map is installed but trails not clearly marked.
