Good place to go. There is Zoo also. Parking facility is available. A must visit place in a low budget. Not at all expensive. And it's very easy to go there by road.

Well if in Rohtak and you have nit visited this place you haven't been actually in Rohtak. Very nice calm and soothing place, and with the view of the birds in the middle of lake, it certainly will mesmerize you. A place well promoted by Haryana Tourism and you will know why once you reach here. The restaurant here is also very good with the quality food one can devour upon. Place around lake has a lot of monkeys which may cause trouble now and then which should be taken care by the authorities and also the place can be taken care of a bit better. Overall a very nice place to be at.

A great outing for Delhite from busy schedule. Grassy grounds, good restaurant, a zoo, a lake full of water with boating facilities and spending the evening on the banks of the lake, in all makes the for a couple, family and friends. May stay overnight for experiencing a sweet morning.

Awesome place for family outing. Strolls and boating is what people enjoy the most. Attached is a restaurant where good food is served. There is a zoo, which gives great view of wildlife to its visitors. Must visit, if looking for fun outing and some picnic.

It's good place for a day out...but this place needs to be cleaned....the food in the Haryana tourism restaurant is awesome...but be aware of monkeys...there were a lot of monkeys and you are not able to eat anything outside....

Tilyar lake is awesome site in our city Rohtak But if you want to compare this place with other best lakes it's not too cool. It also have a little zoo. Lake seems very nice in evening time.

Good place to spend long weekend in the outskirts of Delhi at very reasonable rates. Lovely neat and tidy rooms, good food and good room service. However place gets crowded on Sundays with picnic crowd.

Very Nice Experience , Beautiful , wonderful and peaceful environment . Zoo is just near the lake . Visitors would definitely enjoy the lake. Canteen facility is also available. Government's Rest House Is there for VIP visitors . There is clean environment. Zoo is closed on Mondays. Boating is enjoyable in the lake. Fountain Shows are also very Beautiful , seating is there for viewing fountain show..

The name of the place is kept on the bird name. All the resort or tourist complex managed by Haryana Tourism is on some birds name.The rooms are nice and the lake view is amazing. Perfect place to spend 2-3 days out of city traffic. You can go in groups to enjoy the stay. Boating facilities is also available. Go for it. The food is great but service will take some time.
