Discover the history of our historic residence in the centre of Rome. The history of this House, where we welcome you, begins with the Knight Italo Signorini, that at the end of the nineteenth century left the Veneto and after some years in Africa in the early 1900s came to Rome and bought the building in Via Veneto that became immediately after the Grand Hotel Flora, still existing today. At the beginning of the 1920s, with the Hotel Flora in full activity, he decided to build the palace where now stands "Relais Donna Lucrezia", which was left as a legacy to his seven sons. At the end of the forties the nephew of Italo Signorini, Francesca, married the Count Moroni, cavalry officer and horse riding champion, descendant of an ancient and noble family of Bergamo. This family has its origins at Albino, a small town of Bergamo Valleys, which was also the birthplace of the painter Giovanni Battista Moroni, that lived in the middle of the sixteenth century.

Excellent place to stay. Confortable, classy , clean and affordable price. The owner and his daughter Lucrezia very nice people. They are very professional and helpful. We were a family of 8 people and we stayed 3 day. They always had a table, for all of us, prepared in the morning ready for our breakfast. They always offer fresh and delicious breakfast home made. I am very greatfull to have met such a wonderfull people.
This hotel is an amazing find in Rome! We can't say enough nice things about the owner and the staff. They truly went out of their way to help us in everyway. We arrived on a holiday weekend when things were closed but they arranged to find things for us like laundry, hair dresser, cabs etc. The owner is so charming and his family helps out with the hotel - his daughter checked us in, she spoke perfect English and was so friendly. They take great pride in the hotel as it was once their family home. The breakfast was delicious with homemade crossiants and other amazing foods. The owner brings fresh olive oil and cheese from his farm - you won't believe how good it is. The location is also centrally located (near the Spanish steps) so you can walk to so many things. When we return to Rome we will definitely stay at this hotel - it adds to your entire Roman vacation!
