One of the nicest monuments I've seen. It stands out as a beautiful sore thumb when walking the city. It is a must go to if you want good photos and such. Also don't forget to go see the spectacular view at the top! It is truly a site to see and another one of my must go to places for Rome

What a beast of a building, one of my favourite sites of Rome. Godlike. It’s one of the more recently constructed buildings of Rome compared to the ancient ruins that you find around the city. Built in the late 1800’s this building shouts ‘power and authority’. This building was designed for a king and he must have been happy with it!

Probably the most amazing building in the whole Rome. The size of it is very deceptive. You can go from the very bottom entrance all the way to the top. Top view is absolutely stunning. You can see the whole city, it's consistent architecture and the spread as well as the mountains in the background. Visited it in the early morning and I was stunned by the beauty of the city. Probably should be next stop after the Coliseum.

A magnificent monument... I think one of the most beautiful in the world. You can take the elevator and take pictures of Rome. The views is amazing! Before to come to the elevator you should to do some stairs.

Vittorio is a large monument in the middle of Rome. There are normally dressed up Roman soldiers outside with whom you can take pictures. The statues are really amazing especially the 2 horsemen at the entrance. They make great selfie backdrops. Don’t miss the rooftop bar where you can enjoy the famous Italian Spritz. From here you can also take panoramic pictures of Roma. Don’t forget your sunglasses. The white Roman marble is super bright on a sunny day.

One of the most beautiful buildings in Rome. Make sure you visit the tip floor for the extraordinary views. The showcases should be renewed though they were unreadable.There is a lift to take u to top. This is a good view point. It's less crowded compared to colosseum.

Its a perfect monument to visit. Historically place. Free of charge to visit the place including the top. Its recommended to pay an extra of about 10 EUR and to take the elevator to the top top roof. Amazing view of the city and the colosseum. Stay there at least 90 minutes.

The Altar of the Fatherland is still controversial. A massive monument to the unification of Italy, it's construction meant destroying many older churches and palaces. It's gleaming white Brescia marble stands out because most marble in Rome is not as white as this. The altar is full of symbolism and is also the tomb of the unknown soldier. You can get the elevator up onto the top of the building and enjoy the view of the city.

This is absolutely a must place to visit in Rome. Go at sunset. (Bring warm clothes because it's windy) and enjoy the fabulous 360 degrees Rome view! We didn't pay to take the elevator to the upper view point and still enjoyed the view very much.

This is one of my favorite places we visited while in Rome. Most of the building is free to explore. You can even get up fairly high and there is a wonderful view of the ruins. I think we paid 10 euros to take the elevator the rest of the way to the top, it was completely worth it. The view is breath taking. The central location gives such a great perspective to everything in the area.

Free to enter and no lines however you have to pay to use the elevator to the top. The museum inside is neat. The building is massive and seems to have many layers. Extremely bright and magnificent, quite the contrast with the neighbouring ruins. Go to the back of the building and up the hill for a great view of the Roman forum.

Beautiful! Stunning building from the outside but also very nice inside. Furthermore, it has a nice museum in the basement and if you also want to go to the top and enjoy the amazing views, then you get the entrance to the museum for free. Definitely worth it- so beautiful and super interesting!

What a massive structure I have to say. The size of it just blows your mind. They have a lift to get the terrace views as well which offer some great view of Colosseo with the Forum. Looks equally amazing at night. Worth a visit.

My favorite building in Rome. It's dominance is awe inspiring. The bronze statues are enormous. Spend the 10 Euro and take the elevator to the top. The view of the surrounding city can't be beat. We didn't spend much time inside. But there is plenty to check out. You literally can't miss it if you are walking around Rome. Near lots of great cafes and restaurants too.

Building is beautiful and impressive, don't miss it. It is free to enter the building and you can climb the stairs into the first floor where there's a nice view of Rome and also a nice cafeteria that was closed when we get there. There's also an option to take the elevator to the roof for 10€ each - we decided not to take it, too expensive IMHO.. and there another chances to observe Rome landscape...

A beautiful and imposing building which makes you feel really small when you are walking across its terrace! It also offers a great view over parts of the city. In case you are interested in Italian history there is also a museum inside but I didn't visit it.

Beautiful structure filled with Italian history. Museum inside is quite nice and the view from the top is breathtaking. Can be very challenging to climb all the steps during the heat of the day but there are plenty of elevators inside. Only downside is that non paying visitors are not allowed to use the toilet. Would totally recommend a visit if you're in Rome.

Although it is pretty new building, dedicated to the first king of united Italy, it is still spectacular in its own sense. You can visit it and learn about Italian army and a bit about countries history, but in the end you can climb up to the roof, where you can get on of the best views of the entire city (next to Saint Peters). Building is quite big and makes you, as many other places in this city, feel small

Built in 1911, this isn't an ancient site full of history, but its construction is magnificent. It's a museum monument site in the middle of Rome. For 10 Euro you can take an elevator up to the rooftop which is topped by two giant horse statues on either side and has an amazing 360 degree view of Rome. Coliseum, Roman forum, racetrack, Peter's Basilica are all visible from up top. Great place to snap some fantastic pictures of Rome.

A great tribute building that gives so much and is free to enter! A visit to the roof is a must and is great value even at €10 each as it gives you a fantastic aerial view of Rome with maps on either side detailing the monuments of the city. Amazing
