The Arch of Constantine, while it's a beautiful piece of art however you will see the litter of plastic Bags and empty water bottles on the ground, this is to make a humble request to all especially to the tourists please keep every place clean you visit and Do Not Litter.

These ruins from The Ancient Roman civilization were so impressive. Step by step around this area appear one after another breathtaking monument or column or statue.... . The architecture was so wonderful.

It's magnificent and it's right near the Coliseum. Don't miss it. It's fun to imagine a long procession traveling down the Via Labicana, turning, marching through the column and down to the middle of the Forum.

Nice arch with lots of details situated between the colloseum and the Palatine Hill. "Hail the conquering heroes"

Beautiful Arch close to the Colosseum. It was erected in AD 315 and celebrated Constantine's victory over Maxentius. It has embellishments which were scavenged from earlier monuments.

The largest roman arch i ve seen, comparable in size to L' Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

The largest roman arch that was ever build. It commemorates victory of emperor Constantine over his rival Maxentius, at the Milvian bridge in year 312. Victory is also significant for christianity, because Constantine saw message in the sky "in hoc signo vinces", and after this omen officialy allowed christianity as religion. Arch gives strong impression of imperial power, which is obvious in comparison to older one of emperor Titus in the vicinity which is more modest. Arch of Constantine is nicely paired with Colloseum, from where you can get a clear upper shot.

Rome is just beautiful; it doesn't matter where you are or where you look; you will always find something impressive, like the Arch of Constantine.

Beautiful! Right beside the Coliseum and on the way to Palatin Fórum and anchient Roman Fórum. To the Coliseum and fórum you can use Roma pass and get the fast pass line.

Beautiful victory arch plundered by successors. All the metal was taken from this arch for other creations. The valuable maroon-colored marble is only seen in the right-side circles as seen from the back. The rest has been removed. Overall, very cool to see. I do wish the fence was less obtrusive for photography.

Yes, it’s beautiful to look at and it sits in the perfect position between the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. But don’t forget to sit there for a minute or two to read the description

Mindblowing to think that Emperor Constantine was involved with this structure. Impressive even today, even if you can walk under the arches.

Sadly its now a main point used a meeting point for tour guides. But this building lacks tour opportunities for visitors to have a closer look. But if you are visiting colosseum, you have to pass thru this and try to embrace the architecture. Back then roads didnt exist. So try to build a mind map how this structure stood then

The Arch of Constantine is a triumphal arch in Rome, situated between the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill. Beautiful architecture, it is amazing to be standing in front of a history. Doesn't matter which angle you took, always picture perfect with the blue sky. ** They sell admission tickets to both 3 places, Arch of Constantine, Colosseum and Palatine Hill. Go to the ticket office at Palatine Hill because shorter line. DO NOT go to Colosseum ticket office because the line is super long. You can get the same tickets at any ticket offices.

beautiful and very underrated! standing right next to an attention-stealer like the colosseum isn’t exactly a prime spot, so a lot of people either miss or ignore this gem, but it’s really a stunning peace of art and as far as aches go it’s definitely up there with the greats.

Huge and ornate! This one stands right outside the Colosseum leads you into the Roman Forum.

This is a magnificent and beautiful place. It is full of history. Also it was interesting for me to visit it because lot of films were filmed there. It was interesting to walk in the surroundings of that historical place. It would be useful to have descriptions of the place for tourists and visitors. Also if it would be in several languages. In order to learn more.

Had really nice history, the original ground that it's one and people walk on is interesting as well you really have to be careful walking or you will twist your ankle. It's the original Roman street, big chunks of stone that make a path. I never paid attention to the ground so much in my life!!

Nice landmark with architectural elements . It can be useful for meeting point when some tourists get lost from the group. Crown people here sometimes , beware your belonging all the time. Anyway it's worth to walk around, atmosphere and surroundings are lovely.
