L'arche de Balbi est une arche située dans le centre-ville de Rovinj en Istrie.
Cette arche, une des sept portes de la ville, est de style baroque construite en 1680. Elle est ornée « d'une tête de Turc surmontée d'un lion vénitien, souvenirs des dominations ottomane et vénitienne. »

Absolutely beautiful area. I wouldn't eat on he harbour though (somewhat boring, over priced restaurants), but a must visit place, look at the boats etc. If we had more time definitely would have gone out on some kind of boat trip, there are a number that leave from this area.

Next to the famous street, you should walk up or down the street from this square up to the church. There are a lot of nice handmade products along the way while you can enjoy taking nice photos of little cute street and architecture in this area
