The best sea bass, I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommended! Everything is locally sourced and the rooms are nice and cool even when it’s incredibly hot outside.

Cooking is great here and especially for seafood. The fish soup is surprising light and not as heavily seasoned as in most restaurants. Tuna steak is very well prepared. Grilled shrimps (as appeared on the English menu) are actually braised crayfish so probably a case of lost in translation. Very interesting producers from the wine list but a few are sold out.

Great food for Rovinj. This would probably be 4 stars if this were in a city but good food was hard to find so this was a real surprise. Nice atmosphere and decor. Really nice view into the harbour so perfect setting for sunsets with the own town in the back drop.

Beautiful food in a beautiful setting. A real surprise considering that normally you would expect overpriced and badly produced food at a harbour front establishment, this was the complete opposite. Our waiter, possibly the owner, was friendly and attentive whilst also leaving us to enjoy each others company. The restaurant prides itself on local, produce and it showed, everything was deliciously fresh, well cooked and presented with a casual style and flair that showcased the ingredients at their best. If we ever happen to be in Rovinj again, we will visit Kantinon Tavern again without hesitation.

Nice restaurant with good choices of fish, a nice terrasse with a view on the haven and the tour. The food was excellent, the staff super nice and the place is very clean. They even have alcohol free beer. You can enjoy good food here and chill with a view.
