Really fantastic museum for Dostoevsky's fans. It starts with his apartment, where you can read about his life and his last years. It feels like a memorial, which a watch stopped when he died and a matchbox where his daughter wrote about his passing. Then there is a technological, interactive part dedicated to talk more about his life and works. The audioguide here greatly improves the experience. Finally, there are temporary exhibits. When I was there, there was a cool one about Dostoevsky in Florence, where he wrote The Idiot. There are always events going on here.

Entrance fee is very nominal. The place is very well maintained and there's a shop for getting memorabilia. Worth a look if you're a fan of Dostoevsky.

Great but I have a small complaint: The audio guide lasts for 45 minutes, giving immense details about Dostoyevsky. Some people may feel tired where others like it.

Such a moving experience to see the place where one of my favorite writers spent part of his life. The audioguide was beautiful, definitely worth it! I think the museum wouldn’t be so interesting for those who are not familiarized with Dostoyevsky’s work

Small meuseum that used to be Dostoievsky appartment. Nice retracing f the writer life. A must visit if you are passionate about literature
