SeaWorld is an American theme park chain with headquarters in Orlando, Florida. It is a proprietor of marine mammal parks, oceanariums, animal theme parks, and rehabilitation centers owned by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment (one park will be owned and operated by Miral under a license). The parks feature orcas, sea lion, and dolphin shows and zoological displays featuring various other marine animals. There are operations located within the United States in Orlando, Florida; San Diego, California; San Antonio, Texas; later outside the United States such as Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and previously Aurora, Ohio. On March 5, 2007, SeaWorld Orlando announced addition of the Aquatica water park to its adventure park, which already includes SeaWorld and Discovery Cove.
SeaWorld parks also feature thrill rides, including roller coasters like Kraken, Mako and Manta at SeaWorld Orlando, and Steel Eel and The Great White at SeaWorld San Antonio. Journey to Atlantis, a combination roller coaster and splashdown ride, can be found at all three parks. The parks were owned by Busch Entertainment Corp., the family entertainment division of Anheuser-Busch, which is best known for brewing beer. In 2009, Busch Entertainment was sold to the Blackstone Group and subsequently renamed SeaWorld Entertainment. In 2013, Blackstone sold 37% of SeaWorld Entertainment in an initial public offering and sold its remaining 21% holding to Zhonghong Zhuoye in 2017. It is a major theme park competitor to Six Flags, Cedar Fair, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products and Universal Parks & Resorts.

Very well maintained for an aquarium and park. There really is fun for the whole family and plenty of educational options as well. We went for half the day (no kids) and had a good time and were able to see every exhibit we wanted to. If you can, plan the day so you can see feedings and shows. Talk to park guides/volunteers when they are at an exhibit you're visited. You never know what you may learn!

SeaWorld has really stepped up their game recently. I have gone about three times in the last two years and it has been a really fun experience every time. I love the dolphin shows and all the new shows they have (Currently they have Chinese acrobats). It was an enjoyable time experiencing the shark tanks, sea turtle aquariums, penguins and more!

LOVE how festive Sea World is for Christmas! Love how they rescue animals. We just saw the dolphin show with the rescued pilot whale from Japan. Best show ever. Very family friendly and a beautiful place to walk while learning about and appreciating sea animals and other sea life. Nice trees here too!

All great except staff. 80% of the employees are just there for a paycheck. Really low moral and very misinformed on policies. One worker was extremely rude. We rented a stroller from your park to use for the day. I asked where I could leave it, as I had to step out to my vehicle real quick and she said "you can leave it over there but if someone takes it then there's nothing I can do about it." I didn't expect for her to keep an eye out on it, so I went back to where they are kept. They were very willing to hold it for me until I returned with no issues. I'm not sure if she was just in a bad mood or because she was pregnant or both but I wasn't impressed. That wasn't the only encounter I had with an employee on that day.

Had a great time over Xmas. The park was amazingly empty. The customer service was TOP NOTCH. My daughter got a bloody nose, staff immediately help us, taking us to first aid, and first aid bought her a Sea World T-shirt, of her choosing, so she didn't have to wear a dirty shirt! For all the sea world haters, they pump a lot of $ into conservation and are a asylum for animals that cannot return to the wild.

It was a great experience I would recommend everyone come to see this place at least once in there life. It's best to get the tickets online and get the eating pass because it's worth it. I was there all day and seen all the shows and all the exhibits. However we didn't have enough time to get to the rides so plan accordingly. Also it's best to get there earlier because the parking spots fill up quickly. I would definitely go here again to see sea life up close and personal.

Great staff! Everyone was friendly & informative. The bathrooms are plentiful throughout the property & very clean!!! Several had been updated. I really appreciated that there were lockers you could pay to use. They are located to the right of the entrance to "Shipwreck Rapids." A Wonderful time! Remember to bring sunscreen.

Had a good time! Supposed busy day was not crowded at all! Brought our 3 and 11 year old daughters, both had a great time! Did the "Dine with Orcas" for lunch. Highly recommend (though book as early as possible online as tables are arranged by booking date) and we had great seats (booked about a week out). Some rides were closed thus reason for 4 stars.

San Diego Sea World is a nice place to take your family to see and sometimes interact with sea creatures. The facility is starting to show it's age and so the roller coaster was closed for renovation. 😣 We were lucky to see some of the animals during feeding time and so they were much more visible. This was also part of the SoCal City Pass which made it more affordable. If not, we would have probably gone to another site. Be sure to ride the lift which takes you out of the park to see spectacular views!

Sea World has such fond family memories for me. The rides, the smells , the great weather, the price is not too bad. I even spring for the "Dinner with the whales" and it was so intimate and nice. I ate right by the tank and the whale swam right by. It was a buffet style dinner and the food was well worth the price. I do not know if they still do the "Dinner with the whales" so double check on that before going. I think the log ride is my favorite ride here.

We absolutely love going to SeaWorld! My kids would not see most of the sea life they get to see here of it wasn't for this place. The shows are informative and they way they include the animals makes it that much more fun to learn about the different species protected and cared for here. Elmo's bay of play is great for the little ones, and manta/Atlantis/shipwreck rapids is great for the more adventurous kids! There's something for everyone! During the summer we would live the fireworks. You can even see them from fiesta island while enjoying a cozy bonfire.

We had a fantastic day. Certainly pricey, but very happy with the attractions and more than impressed with the food! We sprung for the eat all day plan. This was awesome. Got food and drinks every hour that we wanted. We stopped fairly often to sample the great variety offered and to be sure we stayed hydrated. So easy with the bottled water option. Didn't have to carry around our own and went home with extras. The food was very tasty ,fresh, and interesting. Was thrilled with the portions since we got to choose a side or dessert very time! A great deal for those planning to splurge on the diet. Many options though make it easy for a variety of tastes. Very happy with our day enjoying the animals and feeling like a mini vacation.

Sea World is an amazing place that does amazing things. Your trip helps fund rescues and rehab for injured sea life year round. While you are at the park you can see many animals up close like dolphins, otters, sharks, and many others. They also offer many behind the scenes tours for an additional price. There are a variety of food places with good quality food at reasonable prices. I recommend buying a souvenir cup as you will get free refills day of purchase. This will always be on of my favorite places.

May 5, 2018. It was my daughters first time going! (18monthsold) She absolutely loved it. So much for kids her age and up to experience there, I as her mother loved it an it brought childhood memories back to the surface. My daughter was definitely learning an having fun all at once! The animals are very well cared for and their enclosures are kept very clean. I 110% suggest visiting here, either if you have kids or not I guarantee you will have fun!

Came here a couple of months ago to relive some of my childhood memories. It did not disappoint. The park is still as great as I remember it. Didn't do any of the rides, but did enjoy all the animals and appreciating how great they were. The penguins were awesome. My goodness are there a lot roaming around on exhibit. Def a great time and something to try from time-to-time.

I like SeaWorld for many reasons. First of all it is a San Diego staple set on beautiful Mission Bay. They do have some cool attractions for young and old alike. The Sea World Tower gives you a beautiful rise above Mission Bay and it is well worth the ride to see The View. A few years ago they added Journey to Atlantis which is a nice take on a mild roller coaster with a wet and dry theme. The couple years ago they added the Manta which is a definitely a Thrill Ride. It goes fast and has you hold on. This year actually just this month they have opened their highest craziest roller coaster yet called the Electric Eel. It looks pretty gnarly. On this trip I was just there to pick up some friends but I will renew my season pass so that I can take in the electric eel several times over. And another note having lived in San Diego for most of my life and in very close proximity to SeaWorld I must make a comment about those who do not like SeaWorld. In my experience over the past couple of decades many injured and or sick sea life wash up on the beaches of Pacific Beach and Mission Beach. If they are dead the city will come and remove then eventually. However SeaWorld and their rescue team are the only ones who will come and take away an injured or sick sea lion or dolphin or other sea life and nurse them back to health in their facility until they are well enough to be released back into the ocean. And I've have seen this personally time and time again. So in my experience I can only have a very very good opinion of SeaWorld for all the great work they do to help sea life. Also I've known many people who have worked there over the years and the ones who are fortunate enough to work close up with the animals absolutely love them and treat them and speak of them as if they were their own dogs or something. So overall I have a great opinion of a SeaWorld especially for their continuous effort to rescue save and send back sea life into their natural environment after nursing them back to health. Thank you SeaWorld!

This park holds a special place in my heart. It is one of a kind and has all sorts of attractions, from thrill seekers to the nice and relaxed. It is a great family friendly park and has a whole area dedicated for the little ones. And the park offers a wide variety of food options at an affordable price. There are also plenty of spots to sit down and rest and fun shows. Definitely a must visit when in the San Diego Area.

very beautiful attractions would require more areas of shade. The shipwreck was quite exhausting for 2 hours in line under the sun and came out quite wet so I advise not to do it at the end of the day. We bought only one bracelet for free meals but have the limit of one order per hour. We were two adults and two kids and we loved it anyway. The cost is $38 for a bracelet. We stayed at the "Calypso Bay Smokehouse" restaurant and it was really good. I recommend the trio of examples in order to taste everything. Their fries are among the best ever eaten to date. The park seems small but you will spend the whole day. We did not try the fast-pass but I must say that in some cases they are useful especially if the boys want to repeat the races several times. Parking costs $22 and we did not have any problems. There are water dispensers near the restrooms so do not throw away the empty bottles. The evening is colored all of a thousand lights and is also very beautiful.

SeaWorld has changed so much for the better!! I’ve been coming a long time and this time I was amazed with all the improvements. The new electric eel ride is so fun gives you a perfect adrenaline rush! All the shows are fun to watch and the aquariums are beautiful. I stayed all day long and still didn’t do everything. My family and I enjoyed our day very much. The show illuminate is my favorite very fun and exciting. If you’re thinking about bringing the family just do it.

Great place to visit to explore sea world. Beautiful aquarium of sea water and fresh water fishes and other creatures. We can see all type of sea creatures starting from mini fishes to dolphins, whales, sharks, sea lions. Each has its own acrobatics live show where in you can enjoy their talents including of killer sharks which are very friendly with the trainers. The electric laser show with sea motorbike and water jet man acrobatics are really attractive and memorable.Children can enjoy the pleasant touch and biting of mini fishes and flashing of water on them by killer sharks. The flamingo gallery is eye catching with their pink colour. Number of good fast food stations and sitting arrangements everywhere for tired tourists. A great place to visit and spend one or two days.

I never went to Sea World as a kid, but now I was able to take mine. They loved all the shows and rides. It was a good family outing. We bought year passes and my kids are excited to go again and again. I love the cool breeze coming in when the sun starts to set. You can be there for 8 to 10 hours and the time just flies by. The night shows are awesome. It keeps my boys attention with the flashing lights, dancing and water works.

This was the first time I have been back to Sea World since the late 80’s. Lots has changed. It’s well maintained. Rids are fun. I’ll get to the good first. Till July 4 they are letting active and veterans have 4 tickets free. Awesome. I strongly suggest getting the all day dine plan. You get a to have 3 items every hour. This includes 1 entree, 1 side or desert, and a drink. It you eat twice it pays for itself. Trust me you won’t go hungry. If you are vegetarian or vegan they have pretty good options at the places. The cucumber salad was amazing. Food was very fresh and tasted great every time we went back. We went every 1hr15min. Bad part is rides even though they were fun the lines took for ever. They would fill a ride before starting on several we could have been in and out had they just asked for a single or double. So be prepared. The shows are are fun but get there early they fill up fast. All in all we only paid $20 (which is a one day thing if you leave the park they will charge you again) for parking and $120 for the 4 of us to eat all day. So it was a fun time.

What can I say about Sea World. Everything there is made to get you wet. It’s fun educational and an all around family fun time. It’s reasonable prices and great food make it wonderful. It only took me 50 years to get here but it was worth the wait. Love this place. My kids love this place. You’ll love this place.

We love coming here! There are so many things to see. The rides are great, the lines are never really that long. The all day dining pass is a great deal and the food is very good. The parking isn't too bad but it's worth it to upgrade to be closer so you don't have to walk too far at the end of the day. Some of the tanks needed to be cleaned but other than that, it's a great place to go with family and friends.

Great animal theme park with good marine life exhibits & amusement rides. The food in all the restaurant were actually quite good & high quality. All Day Meal Plan was worth the money. You can get a choice of an entre, side/desert (including fresh fruits) & a drink (including bottled water), every hour at their six largest restaurants. The two roller coasters were quite thrilling. Appreciated their wildlife rescue & marine ecosystem protection efforts.

Great place to go with the family! The shows are fun and there is so much to see! We went on a Saturday and there was a lot of people but it wasn't too crowded, similar to a weekend zoo trip. They have added a lot more education to everything which was great! I recommend not getting the all day dining pass for anyone thinking about it.
