Perhaps January is not the best time for coming to a Botanical Garden. I'm sure this garden is very beautiful during the summer times, but it just didn't meet my expectations when I went. Nevertheless, it is a very relaxing place to take a walk, and the place is huge, so there's lots to see. The garden is fairly well-maintained; the plants are well kept, the pathways are kept clear. There also a lot of open areas to hang around with friends. They have a fairly wide variety of plant life--all very beautiful to look at. Would definitely check this place out when the weather's nice.

There's a huge variety of flora in the garden to explore, which made for a great afternoon. The garden is very well maintained, and is well worth the small entry fee if you're not a resident. If the weather is nice, then treat yourself to a walk through the garden and enjoy the scenery.

It took us about 3 hours to see the whole garden. This garden is huge. It's divided into different sections of the world - with plants from all over. This is a wonderful place to take photographs whether of nature or a people photoshoot. A must see when in SF. Admission was $8 for adults for non-residents.

I’ve brought countless people here who have had minimal interest in plants and horticulture, only for them to be amazed and eager to see more. The information made available is fantastic, and the variety is reflective of San Francisco’s favorable climate. I’ve never gone and seen any employees unhappy with their task, and the only dishevelment I’ve witnessed in my eleven visits in the past two years have been completely natural with employees either helping visitors pass, or explaining the phenomenon that’s occurring. I would recommend this without a doubt every single time.

I love this place, its beautiful and well taken care of. It's a wonderful place to bring any friends or family visiting. Its free if you live in SF; a lovely respite from the hustle of the city.
