The park is really big and with lots of green areas where you can sit and have a picnic or take your pet. Also there’s a little park for kids. On the weekends you can buy ice cream or maybe you can catch people playing music. A great place to spend a sunny day.

Had the pleasure of being at an event in the park. It's well maintained and looked after. Provides shade for little ones and I suppose you could have lunch from picnic! One side of the park has a great play area too.

What a fabulous park! Very well maintained - people clean and water the grass everyday! Always see people enjoying the parking and its beauty. Great place to enjoy a gelato!

The park is specially friendly and delightful in daylight hours. However, every first Friday of month you can have an special evening in the front of Museo de Arte Contemporáneo where you can enjoy freely the performance of a lot circus people. These guys unleash the beauty of fire and circus performances, really enjoyable. It is unusually safe because these young people love what they do and care about the spectacle, a mixture of amateur and quite professional presentations. Enjoy!

It's one of the most important green areas within Santiago, having a rich variety of trees, some from overseas; you can find the beautiful Araucaria, which is an important specimen in Chile's flora. Even though, the city doesn't take a lot of care about people drinking alcohol or making other illegal activities, or throwing trash away. It's a pitty because it's a beautiful park.

A beautiful, tranquil tree-lined park along the Mapocho River... The only downside are the muggings, pickpockets, etc... Stay aware of your surroundings and you should be okay. Also check out the bike path that runs in the riverbed along water. This area also offer photographic opportunities, such as the famous Torre Telefónica, and the love-lock bridge (a foot bridge that crosses the Mapocho River.

It is a park with a wide extension. It is nice to walk during the day, make a sport and make a picnic afternoon. Nearby is the wonderful ''Museo de Bellas Artes'' in addition to the cultural district. The park brings together diversity, art and music. Place moderately safe during the night.
