Mosteiro de São Bento (in English: St Benedict's Monastery) is a church located in São Paulo, Brazil. Established on 14 July 1598, the current church was built between 1910 and 1914.
Beautiful holy place to go pray and meditate!!!!
What a stunning magnificent church: a lively surprise
please make sure you visit the chapel of the monastery. You'll be shocked!
Historical place in downtown Sao Paulo
Sure worth a visit! It's good to remember it's not allowed to take photos inside it.
I love to go there from time to time. Extremely charming interiors and a real peaceful emotion. The community of monks praying several times a day gives the opportunity to joint them and to enter their quiet existence of praise. Pope Benedict XVI stayed here during his visit in Brazil in 2007. Recommended to tourists and do not forget the Sao Bento bread!
Magnificent building with colonial style architecture located in easily accessible area through metro line. Good surrounding to have a hang out.
Hey thats pretty good
Nice church but we are not allowed to take photos inside
Nice for catholics. Expected more musically. Gregorian singing and organ could be more present. Worth a visit if you are planning to know SP downtown area
