The museum is pretty small and has a rotating temporary exhibit as well as a small permanent exhibit. The layout of the permanent exhibit is awesome, very modern and takes an interesting approach to the varied pieces of arts. In the center of one of the busiest parts of São Paulo, even people watching at the ground level can be entertaining. I'd say you'd spend a few of hours max if you really take the time to go through all the art.

It's a great museum in the city center, it was a great pleasure to visit it. The entrance was free, many good expositions there, pictures, paintings, sculptures, modern art. It is possible to spend hours or even days there an you will enjoy it. The building has very special arquitecture, impressive and heavy. It's one of the "must see" places in San Paulo.

The museum is fantastic. The expos are really cool, with many panels in English. Be aware of the lady on lab coat in front of the entrance. She is a scammer.

I like this museum a lot. If you have time to go I recommend you to go check it out. The only thing I think is annoying is that: in the permanent art exposition (3rd floor) the paint are hanging in front of you but the explanation and other information from that paint is behind it... Also be aware of the pickpockets around the building and most of them are kids.

Impressive collection. Renoir, Picasso.... seating next to each other; I did not see that one coming. The building is awesome.

The Museum of Art in São Paulo is fantastic! The art on display on the top floor is amazing and so well set up. The ticket to get in cost approximately $10 usd which is worth it in my opinion. There is a nice cafe and shop located downstairs below the ticket booth. And there is a nice restaurant as well. Definitely worth visiting!

Perfect museum, even for those who don't normally like getting lost in energy-sapping monsters like the Louvre or the British museum. The permanent collection (including numerous master pieces) let's you sample as much or as little as you want in a welcoming space that's easy to navigate and is fit for a 20 minute power visit or a more in-depth exploration. Must do when in Sao Paulo!

The building itself is impressive. The floor has paintings from many famous artists, but the exposition is not very well organized or explained, is like a warehouse full of paintings. For the price you pay, and the reputation of the museum you expect more

Nice museum. Great presentation. Very unique. The only thing I didn't like was having to walk around to the back of each piece to see the information.

Its okay...lots of old art from not so famous artists. The gift store had the more interesting items on display. If you like Vatican art cast offs, this is your place.

The MASP is a place to visit if you like museums. I thought it was really nice and the show is amazing. What I liked the most, as a tourist, was the location and being able to go in and out with the deceased and then enjoy a good walk along Avenida Paulista. I went on a Sunday and it was perfect. No guides coming. The bathrooms are neat and handicapped accessible.

A great museum in SP (a 'must go', I'd say!) - on Wednesdays, the entrance is free! // Um museu excelente na cidade de São Paulo (um 'must go', eu diria!) - às quartas a entrada é gratuita!

This museum is really worth a visit. It is over 2 floors. There are lots of paintings here and sculptures. The paintings are spread out over a number of years. The newer paintings at the back of a very large room . It is so easy to get too also . Just on the main st in a cool looking building

Not worth the entry. Only 1 floor open when I visited, and was told at the booth that entry is not free this evening, when in fact it is. A con. Plus the exhibition held some rather interesting pieces, albeit from some big names. A lot of money for less than an hour's viewing.

Went on Tuesday which is free. Building itself is piece of art. Enjoy the atmosphere with interesting pieces. Also a good café inside.

The remarkable top level takes you on a journey through time with an introduction to a Greek marble, then over the course of the next couple of thousand years, you get to observe the peaks of artistic flair across the world. Notably, within the last century, how basic expression has come in more contemporary pieces. It’s a nice contrast to observe and encourages thought about the impact of world war, globalisation, religion and technology on the subject matter and skilful creation of pieces.

The actual exhibition brings a variety of renowned painters from across the periods. They are separated by time in history and you can see great names like Van Gogh, Picasso, Renoir, Rembrandt, Degas among many others. The only thing I didn't like it was the tag, which they put behind every master piece.

It feels so empty nowadays. I miss seeing good collections on display here. Now it seems to be more about attracting people of a particular political inclination rather than having good art to behold.

A beautiful museum that is a visit worthy in itself (by modernist architect Lina Bo Bardi). But the collection stole the show with impressive pieces from all periods. Interesting exhibition, and nice facilities troughout. Will return if I am ever in Brazil again
