Villa-Lobos State Park (Portuguese: Parque Estadual Villa-Lobos) is a park in São Paulo, Brazil. It is named after composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, and is located next to Pinheiros River. It was created in 1989 on a site that was previously used as a rubbish tip. The park now has around 37,000 trees. It hosts the annual Aberto de São Paulo.
The park is located the Alto de Pinheiros district to the west of the centre of São Paulo.
This park is located at a very good neighborhood, and it's quite big. There's a connection with another park, where you'll find a nice skateboard downhill street. I like to go there, for running, cicling and there's also a free outdoor gym. Sometimes, in the park, they have workout lesson, musical apresentations and cultural stuffs. There's a train station almost inside there

Despite the nice intentions behind this park, the place itself isn't the best. To get there by public transport you need to take a metro, the on ground part of which strongly smelled of excrements because of the river nearby. The park itself looks more like a field than a park, didn't see any tree around. The facilities are poor, although there's some kind of library. Not a lot of places to eat, I found one, and it was horribly overpriced. In general, São Paulo has better places to offer to spend your time.

This is a great park in the heart of the Pinheiros neighborhood. Very family oriented with many nice attractions to everyone. Although the neighborhood is quite upscale, the park has much to offer to every public. The bikes and skates are quite nice and always available. The food options are great and you can find many restaurants not far from the park. The library is really the best thing about the park with it's cute coffee shop.

A Nice place to go to relax or have a picnic... however to do calisthenics it's perfect... there's the equipment required

Great place. Crowded but well worth spending some time there.

An immense park encircled by a two-lane, paved bike path. It has multiple basketball, tennis, and soccer courts. The orchids arboretum in the center of the park was going through a dormant period because most orchids were not in bloom. It seems like there is something here to appeal to most everyone---even a dog agility park.

One one of the best parks in São Paulo. With no doubts, you must spend a Sunday there. It worth.

My favourite little park in São Paulo. Also has a one way bike lane which is handy.

Grande, espaçoso e com muita área verde. Equipamentos de calistenia e quadras esportivas distribuídos por todo o parque. Eventos e apresentações frequentes. O biblioteca é certamente uma das melhores atrações do parque.
