Great place for some educational art! The museum offers lots of comparative opportunities among pieces from different eras and artists. Great for kids!

I just love this place. It is a must go!!! Also it is free on Saturdays. Go there by subway is waaaaay easier but be careful with the pickpockets around if you want to walk in that park in front of the museum...

The building is with some sort of repairs, but still great. Loads of nice paintings that are very relevant to brazilian culture/history.

It was a really good experience. The art is amazing, and they have a great cafeteria. Also, the garden outside the museum is a must see.

Good place for those more appreciative of arts. Good structure and staff. Easy access too, for the train station is right in front of it. The stores on the place are expensive, but the beverages and juices are worth it.

Very good building in SP, it's a shame Praça da Luz, in front of it isn't well cared, also the museum should have the elevator working more often, in 5 years I visit it, I saw it able to work only once and it was the last time I was in the museum, one month ago. It is my favorite old building in SP.

A good place to go with your family. Lots of culture and art with amazing architecture. Totally recommended for tourists or even locals with the dislike of never having gone

Great cheap art modern art museum, covers the last 300 years or so of Brazilian and foreign artists with permanent and temporary exhibitions. Free entry on Saturdays, otherwise R$6/R$3. All exhibits have English translations on cards you can pick up and read - I didn't notice anything missing between them and the originals.

Good spot for contemplating contemporary art. It's hard to find parking and the place its located could be dangerous. Don't forget to visit the coffee shop at base floor. Well recommended!

Very nice museum next to the Lux Park and a traditional Railway Station. It's a small size museum that can be covered in half a day -- which is about the right time for general visitors. (Not too taxing on your feet. Right amount of art appreciation -- not getting bored yet.)

Yes yes yes! Thank you for highlighting the significance and magnificence of so many local artists! This gallery is just brilliant and the collection so refreshing compared to what you’d find in most European or western galleries! Amazing mix of sculpture and traditional mediums and a great exposure for a foreigner like me, from Australia, to the magnificent cultural side of Brazil

Well maintained. Nice pieces of Brazilian Art and International Artists. There are a place for kids interact with art through activities. There is a beautiful and clean restroom and a good café with vegan food. Easy access. The Subway station (Luz) is right in front of the entrance. Excellent price ticket.

Very interesting and educational museum displaying a large variety of Brazilian art. It has some original ways of displaying the works and helpful guides on how to read art. More than worth its very reasonable R$6,00 entrance fee.
