My husband and I toured the Davenport House with Olivia as our guide. She made our tour interesting and exciting. Olivia gave us historical facts and fun tidbits about Isaiah Davenport & his family. The garden was peaceful & starting to bloom with lots of birds singing. Our guide made the tour amazing!!

Very charming house. Tour is short but full of knowledge. Would definitely come back just to look at the wallpaper again, so cool!

Historic Savannah, with the charm and grace of docents familiar with life in 1820's. Well worth a return visit. The seasonal tour for New Year was on point. I can't wait to go back for standard tour of house.

The Madeira tour was fantastic. The host's banter and demeanor made the tour really fun while still being chock full of historic stories amd facts.

Our tour guide was so informative and the house is beautifully preserved. The garden is so beautiful and it was so cool to learn about the history of six amazing ladies who started saving Savannah' s uniqueness one house at a time, starting with the Davenport House. We loved our time here and it's definitely a must stop while you're here if you're a history buff and love the stories of strong, brave, independent women!

A must tour in a wonderfully Historic city. I recommend the guided tour. The docents not only tell you the history of the house it's building and unique features. In addition aspects of life during the time they lived in house.

The house is lovely. Not as stunning as the Owen Thomas house or Green Meldrim but still fascinating. Our docent was very nice. The gift shop had some very good books and assorted gifts, well displayed.

Beautiful and our tour guide was absolutely precious! I believe her name was Roseann. She made it quite pleasant.

If you are any bit of a history buff like I am, then you will love this adorable, well built homes of our nation's history. My only warning is that you dont individual tickets to these houses, but instead you buy tickets from the boat museum that cover multiple houses for a reduced/discounted price. But enjoy the walk to each one and really take in all Savannah has to offer. So beautiful and romantic and it has been heavily revamped for modern days but the city has also taken to maintaining the beauty and integrity of their historical buildings

This is a great house tour to take for those interested in how present day and historical Savannah have merged. Our teenaged docent was very well informed as well as charming. Great gift shop as well. Very reasonably priced.

If you love touring old homes you will love this tour. Admission is average but look on groupon for discount tickets. In order to view the home you will have to climb curved stairs that are narrow. You enter at ground level through gift shop go up first level which is the main floor to view those rooms sensitives only office active. The next floor is the bedrooms learned where the saying sleep tight can from in the boys room. Looking forward to visiting again t.in the future when they have the kitchen reinstalled.
