One of my favourite places in Scarborough. A beautiful place. There's things to do down near the lake, whether it's watching the ship battles (chargeable), or taking out a rowing boat or pedalo (chargeable), or grabbing some food, or an ice-cream. Alternatively, if you're looking for a peaceful walk head up near the bridge, where pigeons or squirrels will happily come over to be fed. Head further up the paths for some beautiful parkland, whatever the season.

Beautiful views.beautiful trees ,well kept most of the time.grass areas to have a picnic, watch out for seagulls! Feed the squirrels or collect Conkers ! boating lake, pitch&putt, watch the Naval warfare show that's been going for decades. Expensive for ice cream, coffee and tea though. Bring your own and save money! Gets quite busy, choose a warm sunny day to visit, you can always find shade under the beautiful trees. Idyllic setting.

Peasholm Park is such a picturesque park to walk around with all the wildlife roaming around & the beautiful variety of trees, shrubs & a tranquil lake with an oriental style island in the middle with a pretty wooden bridge taking you across to the island. In the centre of the lake stands a tall fast flowing waterfall which looks just lovely to watch....There are many forest paths leading from half way around the park to various areas in Scarborough....all very enjoyable walks. Come along & enjoy Peasholm Park any day of the year! The ducks & squirrels especially love there extra food supplies from people walking by. 😊

Beautiful park and perfect for people with children. Plenty of activities to keep them occupied. Fairly clean and very easy to get though. If you do visit just make sure you clean up after yourselves! I saw a lot of littering going on and it was heartbreaking. These parks are free because of donations and endless hours Volunteer work so let’s do our part and keep it looking beautiful! Also Pet Friendly!! Don’t forget to clean up after your Pets 😊

Lovely park to walk around with lots of wildlife. You can hand-feed the squirrels if they are in the mood and the ducks are always there to. Plenty of benches for people to rest or relax and just enjoy the beautiful landscaped areas. I would recommend it for all ages, families and anybody who just wants a pleasant walk with nature.

It is a lovely place in the summer. It is open to the public all year and it's size means it takes more than ten minutes to get around. There are lots of gems hidden about the park, from the wizard carved into a tree, to wooden owls and the oriental gardens. There are rowing boats and pedal boats to hire during summer months and a couple of ice cream stands. There are often swans, seagulls, ducks and other aquatic birds to be found in the lake. It is nice for a gentle stroll around in the summer sun when you're all beached out and just want a peaceful wander.

Very nice place to make up your own short walk around the woodland following streams and ponds. Different wildlife can be seen throughout such as squirrels and ducks. If you'd like a short, relaxing walk, this is a suitable place to do so.

A fantastic find, we were on holiday and trying to find a parking space and saw a boat go past. Went to have a look and spent 2 hours walking around and took the family on a pedal Dragon boat round the lake. Brilliantly distracting morning- highly recommend

Will be back to its best this year lot of work going on. The old cafe up the big steps is like a being at a church hall!! Scones with a bit of jam and butter in cling film!! Coffee good out of machine. Could be made into a fantastic place

Lovely park with a boating lake and woodland walk, a great seated area to sit and relax, a cafe and ice-cream kiosk. Also the Japanese garden in the middle of the lake accessed by a little bridge, its just a delightful place anytime of the year.

Very clean and tidy. Plenty of seating all around to sit and watch the world go by. Disability friendly. Pleasant walk. X

This park is a joy to walk through. We live to start at the top of the glen, coming through the commonwealth cemetery. The park is well maintained, with seats provided at frequent intervals. At the centre of the park is a lake with a central island, where the council provide entertainment in the form of pedal boats and row boats, the bandstand for music, a pitch and put and in the summer the war battles on the lake, which kids just love. Kids like to watch and feed the many squirrels that inhabit the park Fantastic place for all ages. Well done Scarborough Council on the maintenance and floral displays.

We tend to visit the park every time we visit Scarborough and head straight for the dragon boats. During the summer there's sometimes free entertainment from either a brass band or organist. There's a nice walk round the lake with a little diversion up the valley - a part of the park not many people seem to visit. Crossing the small foot bridge our children enjoy exploring the island. With a small cafe, ice creams there's plenty of snacks available. If boating not your thing then there's plenty of seating to watch the world go by and a small pitch and put course. Free toilets also in the park.

I love this park, its amazing. Nice relaxing place to be. I could easy spend a whole day here. Oriental themed and loads going on. There is a lovely lake with boats that you can go around on.

Wow! We've been to Scarborough many times but never to this great park. The Japanese garden theme is very well done. You can walk around the gardens and lake feeding the ducks, swans and the very tame squirrels, then up to the temple on top of the island. Dragon gondolas can be hired or there's a slow piloted motor boat if your legs aren't up to it. Food wise there's a cafe and refreshment hut. Pay & Display car park near by. Highly Recommended.

We attended Bastille here, it was a brilliant setting for a concert. We had seats and were right near the back, but because of how it is laid out, we still had a great view.....I don't think you could have a bad seat here! It was really well organised and if we lived closer we would go back with the kids as it looks like great fun!

Excellent place for a simple stroll or a picnic with the family. Plenty of events in weekly and the boat hire is open most days which is a lovely thing to do. For you Pokèmon Go players, there are 5 gyms and plenty of stops. There are also 2 nests here
