A nice experience, especially if you have little ones. Not a long journey, but plenty of train whistles. If you pay for a return ticket, you can ride again all day for free! A very limited opportunity, so support it, so that it's here the next time you are.
Lovely place, great area for family’s, cafes and toilets. Can take pets around Lovely train for all brilliant to sit and watch
Love going on the train with the kids great views and we walk back from the sea life centre. Still cheap and great fun being going on it since I was a child.
Topping. Miniature Railway from Peasholm to Scalby Mills. Pubs at both ends and plenty of other attractions for the kids.
Good fun, but ride was short and just a sealife centre and pub at the other end, so not much to do/eat/drink.
Great little railway, get this to get to the sealife centre! Drivers were brilliant with my little boy and let him sit in the engine once we arrived back at the station which he loved.
Excellent miniature railway. Whistles, tunnels, smoke and steam.. What fun.. Its a short run but if you get a day pass you can go back and forward all day long!!
A great little train ride to the sea life centre and back or just for a ride. Great for children and adults young and old! The staff are friendly and are hard working keeping this line running, seeing the steam engine running made mine and my children's day although the original engines are good too and have a interesting history if you ask the staff. Visiting is a must if your in your in the area!
We all loved it especially my 9yr old grandaughter as you can see she could hardly wait to go on the skywalk
Brilliant little train ride but a little short (10 mins each way). Well worth a visit if your in the area.
It's a lovely little train my granddaughter age 2 loved every minute of the journey definitely recommend for children xx
My 3 year old loved it! Quite a short route but lots of fun and the return ticket is a reasonable price.
Very tired attraction. Needs major overhaul ..however ..that when they hike the prices up which are already far too expensive
Lovely experience for our 4 year old. Took a little longer than expected due to fallen tree branches then vandalism at the Scalby Station. Both Engine Driver and Guard were very apologetic and lovely and we got a free cuppa when we travelled back to the Peasholm Station as we were frozen. Will be going again next time we are in Scarborough.
The weather wasn't great but my train mad son, loved it. Maybe they should think about extending the trip further
Absolutely brilliant kids loved it.. and fantastic value.. conductor was really welcoming and friendly.. perfect adventure out.
Great little train for kids aged 2 to say 12 and very resonably priced. Track and engines restored by volunteers and is a real credit to them. You can get a return or walk back along sea front. Kids buggies and disabled access and use no problems. Would recommend.
Great little train, handy to get to and from the sealife centre. Great watching the engine turnaround on the turn table and staff friendly. The ride itself is short enough to keep our toddler amused but long enough that you get to see a bit of the coastline. Bonus that there were a few open carriages for buggies so we didn't have to collapse ours.
We loved the trip we went on. Nice just to sit and enjoy the views.
Longstanding and very popular Scarborough attraction. A must if you are in Peasholm and the North Bay. The kids will love it especially if Georgia, their narrow gauge steam engine, is running.
We have just done the Santa Express here at North Bay Railway. The Santa Express is highly recommended for both little kids and of course the big kids too. It's extremely well priced, the staff go above and beyond to make the day memorable for the kids. We definitely intended to do it again next year with our Granddaughter. Thanks to all NBR
