My first time here for a Giovanni Pernice performance and I was very impressed. Seats were comfortable with good leg room and good view of the stage. The bar area was spacious and easy to get served. Adequate women's toilets which prevented long queues. We were fortunate enough to park outside the theatre with a wonderful sea view.

We attended the regular Scarborough Vintage Fair and upon arrival, was a tad disappointed as the effort of decoration or signage outside lacked, terribly. The quantity of stalls/ entertainment was good and seperate restaurant service was good also. As the theme was vintage, we decided to enjoy a Victorian afternoon tea in the end hall, however again the decor' lacked any special attention for this event, so en passing the concert performing in the lovely outside space and with the weather glorious we decided to take out tea tray back and outside to enjoy the musical atmosphere. The large windows looking out to the sea were very dirty. God knows when they were last cleaned. A good time had at what was a great location although standards within the Spa could do with some real attention.

Love the Spa. Loads of good bands/shows on. Plenty of variety. Foods ok and staff are helpful. Loads of deckchairs if you want to sit in the sun and listen to the band play in an afternoon. Nice bar area and cafe.

Lovely summer venue.. We came here for a graduation.. The main hall is very ornate..I can imagine this a nice venue for a show. We were lucky to have the weather, so went outside to the sun court, which is such a nice place, with the sea behind you. Probably one of the few remaining pieces of old seaside architecture, such a shame the town let's Scarborough down, dirty and lots of shops closed etc. The Spa.. has lovely views and is a nice walk along the sea wall or higher up on the bridge area.

Wanted to see this place for a while now, especially since the TV drama/ghost story "Remember me" starring Michael Palin which showed off the beautiful chequered floor. Not disappointed except for the glass windows which look very dirty and almost opaque. On closer inspection it appears that it's the coating on the glass that has failed and not the lack of effort by the staff. Might be time for replacement? Scarborough Council are you reading this as it's at odds with the exceptional work done on the North Bay Open Air theatre and no less an important item of historic heritage?
