Catterick Racecourse, sometimes known as Catterick Bridge Racecourse, is a thoroughbred horse racing venue one mile north west of Catterick in North Yorkshire, England, near the hamlet of Catterick Bridge. The first racing at Catterick was held in 1783.
The track is left-handed, sharp and undulating, just over a mile round, with a 3 furlong run-in. The gravel subsoil means the going is usually good. It has been said that "it is not one of the North's most glamorous fixtures".

I've been to many racecourses throughout the UK and this one is a gem. I stayed in Richmond and taxied to a from the racecourse. Facilities are brilliant and the course is emmaculate. We had tips from one of the female course managers and I followed her recommendations and won something in every race. We had hospitality but went all over the course and had a truly wonderful day. Definitely worth a visit. Try the King Head in Richmond for accomodation.

Competitive entrance fee of £15 or £5 for centre of course. Good views of racing. Food prices reasonable , and quality is good.

Small friendly course but owners and trainers room far too small and choice of food limited. Very windy today. Good place for a kite festival.

Nice course, didn't allow you to take your own food in. First time I've been stopped from taking in a couple of sandwiches and a can of pop.

A great day out where you can win a little money (or loose a lot) and have a good drink. Prices can be a bit steep though.
