Iconic. Gross? A little. Unique? You betcha! The city can scrape it off as much as they want, but locals and tourists alike will always replenish the walls with this sticky mural. I come back every once and a while to check on it and see if it has changed, and it does! Sure, there is gum on the walls, but the way some people put it there make it a sight to see. You're literally sticking it to the man. Go do it, or at least, see it!

Hard to find, but impossible to forget. As you walk into the alley, it’s kind of like a Disney experience because it smells strongly of bubble gum! Both walls are covered. I think they come scrape the gum off every few years because there didn’t seem to be as much gum as I’d seen in pictures. Fun to visit, but only gives an experience that is entertaining for a few minutes. Worth stopping by if you are checking out Pikes market.

A really cool and unique place covered with more than thousands of chewing gums. There are also some names written with the gum all over the walls. It's a great place to get pictures (even at night). A must visit spot to get a new experience. P.S.- Get ready to meet some drunkards down there. :P

I expected a small section of wall covered in gum. What you see is almost a whole alley covered in gum, some dripping off the walls, some spelled into initials or full words. To be honest it was way grosser than I could have ever imagined a wall covered in gum to be. But it was a unique experience and a Seattle must-see. While you're at Pike Place Market definitely check out the Pink Door restaurant for great Italian food.

Such a fun unique cool little tourist attraction in the back alleys of Seattle right by Pikes Place Market. It simply continues to grow with more and more gum. Fun place to check out while you are in town. Be sure to bring your gum to add to the wall!
