Kerry Park is a small public park and viewpoint on the south slope of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Washington, United States. It overlooks Downtown Seattle and is located along West Highland Drive between 2nd Avenue West and 3rd Avenue West. The park's view is considered to be the most iconic views of the city skyline, with the Space Needle prominent at the center, Elliott Bay to the west, and Mount Rainier in the background.
The park encompasses 1.26 acres (0.51 ha) and includes a railing and several benches facing south towards the skyline. A stairway on the west end of the park connects below to West Prospect Street and the Bayview-Kinnear Park, which has a small playground. Kerry Park is named after the couple lumberman and business magnate Albert S. Kerry and his wife Katharine. They lived nearby, and donated the land to the city in 1927 "so that all who stop here may enjoy [its] view."

Great view of the Seattle skyline. Worth the short drive. Great view day or night. Usually a crowd but not too bad. Always a good viewpoint spot available. The view shows the space Needle in front with the downtown core behind it. I went to a number of viewpoints and found this one to be the closest to the space Needle.

This is the place to go to see the surroundings of the city, skyline and the bay. You can travel here by car but the road is quite steep! There is an option to park on a lower level and climb up stairs to get here as well. It gets pretty windy so bring a hat if it's cold (as well as a camera for scenic panoramas)

Kerry Park is located in lower Queen Anne, which is a little north from down town Seattle and the Space Needle. This is not actually a park, just a viewpoint and a small play area for kids. The best time to visit is in the morning, near sunset, and in the evening. We went there in the afternoon on a not very clear day but can still see Seattle downtown and Mt. Rainer. We only spent half an hour there and went home because it is not particularly safe in the night. All in all, I would recommend this place to first-time visitors.

This is an awesome place to get a view of Seattle. I love bringing out of town guests here. The view at night and during the day are really cool as long as the weather is clear. It can get busy during the day, making it slightly difficult to find parking. I love this spot.

Everybody and their dog goes here but that does not mean you should not. It’s beautiful. Day or night. Bring a coffee or a soda and enjoy the view. At night you can watch the lights on the Ferris wheel do their kaleidoscopic show. If you are up for an adventure hike down the hill and take a ride down the super steep slide, bobble on the bobble chair and try your hand at cliff climbing.

So peaceful and green!!! One of the best spots for scenery and greenery in Seattle. There is a binocular you can use for 50 cents that provide deeper exploration of the city. I'm glad the weather was beautiful enough for me to enjoy it!!!

Beautiful views. There is a little playground down some steps. Plenty of street parking. Wear comfy shoes, you might have to park far on a clear day. There weren't any restrooms when we went so be prepared for that too. I guess if you want that iconic view of Seattle this is the place to go

This is a great place to get a nice view of the Seattle skyline. On a clear day you can see Mount Rainier. The park is very clean and is in the Queen Anne District. The houses in the neighborhood or well-kept. Please pay attention to the no parking signs as it is monitored quite frequently that by the police. I suggest going there for Sunrise or Sunset as the city lights come on it would be beautiful. Also in the Queen Anne district there are several coffee shops and bars that have good happy hours.

Visited last afternoon on Sunday and was lucky enough to get a great parking spot right in front of Kerry Park. It's not really a park... more like a lookout point. But it is by far my favorite view of Seattle. It has the perfect view of the Seattle skyline and the bay. Will definitely be visiting again :)

The number one spot in Seattle for city landscape photographers and wedding photographers. There are always a few photographers around and in the late afternoons and evenings it can be shoulder to shoulder and tripod to tripod. The sunset views form here are quite spectacular. My suggestion is to either come early and claim your spot with a big tripod, or be flexible and explore some not so usual viewpoints. The entire neighborhood is actually quite photogenic and friendly (as long as you stay off the very nice private properties in this area).

Still one of my favorite places in Seattle. The view is spectacular and I could spend all day here. It's one of the first places I visited in Seattle when I came here 4 years ago. Go early on a clear day to admire Mt Rainier.

Great little park with the only view (that I'm aware of) of both the Space Needle & Mt. Rainier. The park stays pretty crowded all day (especially once summer starts) and on a clear day when Mt Rainier is visible you can see a line of tripods lining the rails. It's a small park with limited parking, and sometimes the crowds can feel oppressive, but it doesn't change the fact that it's the best view of the city and the volcano.

This park is a wonderful park to come visit! It is a park where you can walk your dog and have your family! If you just want to take a stroll you can do that as well! So if you are looking for a great park for an exercise walk this is the park to come to!
