The N Seoul Tower (Korean: N 서울타워), officially the YTN Seoul Tower and commonly known as Namsan Tower or Seoul Tower, is a communication and observation tower located on Nam Mountain in central Seoul, South Korea. The 236-meter (774 ft)-tall tower marks the second highest point in Seoul and is considered a local landmark.
Built in 1969, the N Seoul Tower is South Korea's first general radio wave tower, providing TV and radio broadcasting in Seoul. Currently, the tower broadcasts signals for Korean media outlets, such as KBS, MBC, and SBS.
If you're going to be in Seoul, this is one of the best things to experience! Excellent walk up to the top. There are cable cars available for 6000 won if you don't want to make the trek! The love locks are very charming. Would recommend it to anyone!

Very nice spot for tourists! Has many photo opportunities and there are a couple of fun museums inside the building. They offer a package deal if you decide to do both museums and go up the tower. I recommend bringing a date here because there is a very prominent "love / couple" theme here because of the love locks and romantic views. There are good food options as well.

Great place to get some exercise. Take the stairs instead of the cable car and you will feel the burn in your thighs. Approximately fifth of the way up there are exercise machines to work your upper body. Then, when you reach the half way point, there is a little area to take scenic pictures of Seoul down below while you catch your breath for the push to the top. You can walk there from Seoul Train Station or Namdaemun Market. It's not too far.

We got here through hiking trail from the back then experienced the cable car, it's literally a big car for around 20 people. Not really special to use the cable car but easy way to go down. Hike at the back is nice. And N Seoul Tower is a nice place. There's cultural presentations throughout the day.

This is worth doing if you are in Seoul, even for an extended layover. Take the arex express train to Seoul station and it's a short cab ride to the gondola. I recommend the beer and popcorn special, it was priced much better than admission. The views from the top are 360 degrees and epic! The urban sprawl of Seoul goes as far as the eyes can see. It really is impressive. I was there in January and it was 17ºF and windy so dress warm!

Seoul Tower is just like any other Tower experience there isn't really anything special here. If you enjoy scenic pictures of the city then it's worth a visit. My friend and I decided to hike to the Tower from the nearest station! It's roughly a 5km hike if you enjoy walking up steep inclines and through parks I highly recommend this as you can start to see Seoul as you climb up. My only grievance are the shops on the top floor of Seoul Tower. They are so bright that at times the glare of the lights in the shop reflect on the window and it's difficult to take pictures of the view you are looking at.

North Seoul Tower is one of the must visit places in Seoul South Korea. Put a pin on your travel map and head over there, you will have amazing memories, and also not to mention, amazing photos with a 360 view of Seoul. There are several ways you can reach the top: Walk, bus, or cable car. There is a parking lot at the base of the hill next to the cable car start point, but it can get crowded and empty spots are a luxury. I suggest taking the cable car up and walking back down. That way you have the both of worlds. There are coffee shops up top of the hill and also gift shops. Usually there are several performances of martial arts and dancing in the plaza next to the base of the tower, a must see as well. There is a fee to get on the tower top floor, check the tower website for an accurate rate. Once on the top floor you have a 360 view of Seoul! Don’t forget to buy a postcard and mail it home right there. There are also international stamps available to buy next to the postcard stands. Enjoy the views and selfies! You can see North Korea on a clear day.

A great place to get a view of the city. Do take the cable car to get here especially if you have kids you need to carry or elderly as no car or tour bus can go up to the base of the tower. A challenging short hike a steep hill from where the car/bus stop. To avoid the crowd, go during weekdays. We went in the morning as soon as the cable car starts to operate so there was hardly any queue to get on the cable car.

Nice place to see the Soul city in bird view on day and night. Its wonderful place for couple who want to spend their time. Safety preparation and customer services are really great. Especially the elevator is really smooth. We will not feel the climbing and 30 second we can reach the top.

Another great tower with a great view of the city. The tower is slightly distant from the tip of the city since it since on top of a mountain. You can access it through a lift which runs really late or you can walk up through the trail. The view at the top of the tower is not hugely different from the view at the base since it already sits high in elevation. The view of the city is not right beneath you like Busans tower but it's still fun and worth it. The tower lights up and glows and supposedly the color represents how good the air quality is that day.

Instead of getting a bus up like what other people seemed to be doing, we ended up climbing up the road through the park to get here. We were a bit rushed since we still had one more stop after the tower. We used the Discover Seoul pass for the entry ticket. There is a number on the ticket and you can only line up if your ticket number is within the range on display. While waiting you can get something to eat, shop for some souvenirs, or go look at a display like the Hello Kitty one by the ticketing area. The top had really nice views of the city. The glass had cities and their distance from the Tower which I thought was quite nice, particularly since Auckland was there. We somehow managed to get there for sunset which was quite nice. The plaza downstairs had plenty of shops and restaurants. Would've like to spend a bit more time to have a more thorough look at the area.

Really nice place but be prepared for stairs climbing. Initially you have cable car but last 30% of the way are stairs. Very beautiful views. The round trip with the cable car will put you back 8500 won, single is 6000. I advice to grab a taxi to take you to the cable car entrance. From Myeong-dong is around 5000 won (that translates into...almost nothing🤣🤣🤣), which is about 500yen, or 3.50 pounds, or 4 euros, or 4.60 dollars. Whole taxi trip is about 3km from there.

A great place to get a good view of the city. Full of tourists but plenty of space so it's not too crowded. Check out the Seoul alternative to Paris's padlocks. It's brilliant and very Korean. Nice, manageable walk to the top if you have average fitness.

Nice place if you have nothing else to do! I skipped going up to the top of the tower as that was an additional cost, and the views from the bottom were OK enough for me. **there is a convenient store at the base which sells snacks and alcohol. A nice place to send a couple of hours if you have nothing else to do....

One of my favourite attractions in Seoul. You will not regret a trip to the tower. Four storeys of dining and arcade games will help keep you entertained. Access to the tower itself is 10,000krw and can take up to 30min in line during peak times (queue down is very long so please allow time). The tower has two observation decks and a cafe. There are great photo opportunities but note that the insurmountable Skyline is impossible to capture in one photo! You will need to catch the bus up here so allow time for this on weekends when it is busy (up to 20min wait).

A great place to visit for the view and the quirky, fun atmosphere. I recommend visiting N Seoul Tower in the evening as the night views are fantastic. It costs roughly â‚©10,000 per person to get to the top floor observation deck (which I do recommend). Make sure to stop in the bathrooms at the top as well! This place is a great place to go for a date as their are a lot of romantic spots and photo opportunities. You can also buy locks here to affix to one of the gates or other places near the base of the tower (similar to in Paris).

Iconic tower in Seoul which is good to visit in the evening. You may drive up to a landing area n then hop on a bus for a short ride up to the actual tower entrance. Tickets are required for entrance to the tower itself, however walking around the surrounding area at base of the tower is non chargeable. Do note that it’s best to take the bus down n not attempt to walk down as it can be a rather long dark hike. Upon entering tower entrance a lift would bring one up to the observatory area which is circular so you can view Seoul 360 degrees all round. There are also retail outlets here selling souvenirs, snacks n candy etc. The night view is best as one can see the lights of the city from Namsan Tower. Recommended visit!

Schedule for a night view is the greatest. The weather during early summer is a fine cool and the view is spectacular. Took the cable cable up was fast. There many restaurants at the Seoul tower. You can further buy a ticket to go higher up to the tower TOP for a different experience. The view is just go nice and worth the time going there.

( this is the belief of locals )

This is a great place for a date night. It is surrounded by a park that has great matted hiking trails. There's an ancient wall that lines the roadway heading up to the tower. Also, buy a lock and place it on the fence for a fun memory. Be warned, the night view is great but the reflections from the vendors on the inside of the tower glare badly. Also the night line for the descent elevator can get crazy long. So I'd suggest going on a clear day over night

This place is amazing. It's located in the heart of the city and it's short trek, about 30 to 40 minutes depending on pace, from the bustling city streets to the peak of the mountain but when you get to the top it almost seems like the city is far away. There's multiple ways to ascend and each is well taken care of. There's also a bike path and a bus that runs up the mountain as well as shops to get a refresher. This is definitely a climb that you need to be some decent shape for.

Amazing views of the city. Surrounded by gorgeous park. Short walk or bus ride away from main train stations.

It was raining and this tower was right in front of my hotel room’s window... watching it was like falling in love.. this tower is awesome for young couples and honeymooners.. it has revolving restaurant and view in day as well as night was awesome... for couples, take an unlocked lock along with, and lock it there then throw in river, for longer locked wedding life..

Quite a walk up. Can either walk up the steps or the road that the cars drive up. Fantastic views at the top. My second time coming and loved it. Lots of room at the top to walk around and spend and hour or 2 up there. The love locks are a cool feature. It's a must do.

An amazing place for a walk over thousands of stairs. A nice evening spend to be over. It has multiple water taps on d way as well and nice and clean toilets. The crowd here is always full of younger people.. good place to be fit in this crowded town.. you can see the beautiful Seoul city from tower. It has multiple restaurants Inside the tower building.

Amazing views of the city. Surrounded by gorgeous park. Short walk or bus ride away from main train stations. The tower itself is pretty unremarkable in that it is kind of a generic shape (consider Tokyo skytree or Seattle space needle for comparison). But it’s the views and the surrounding scenery that make this place pretty remarkable. Do visit if you’re in Seoul.
