Seoul Olympic Park, shortened to Olpark, is an Olympic Park built to host the 1988 Summer Olympics. It is located in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The two nearest subway stations are Mongchontoseong and Olympic Park.
Built between December 31, 1986 and August 31, 1988, it was designed by the architect Kim Chung-up to celebrate the spirit of the Seoul Olympic Games (peace and harmony) and also to symbolize the ability of the Korean people. Alongside the pillars there are structures similar to wings, under which there's a mural called "A Painting of Four Spirits". In the mural are shown a phoenix, a turtle, a tiger and a dragon (the spirits that guard the gate) ascending towards heaven, representing the strength of Koreans and their freedom.

Lovely park in any season. I recently went here to run the 89th Seoul Marathon 10K. It has numerous things to do and enjoy within and around the park. Take your time to visit this huge park on a sunny day in spring. You will love it and make good memories here!

I dream about this park, if ever there was a successful post Olympics venue this is it, massive rolling lawns, fantastic events, and art thrown around the place like it's no one's business. One could easily spend days here at what I would consider the earliest of parks. Oh did I mention the entrance? It's spectacular, an engineering achievement.

It is a huge park with water, a forest and a lot of grass, I like it a lot, there's even a zone where you can skate or cycle. It's so cool to spend a spring afternoon, go seat somewhere read and relax there are also two rabbits living there. They are very cute and if you are lucky they might let you pet them

Worth a visit! A peaceful and resting place in vivid Seoul. The park is a great place to enjoy a walk either with the family or more lonely. You can also jog, but I would recommend to attend earlier in the day. Nice path through trees, view on the Olympic stadium... I had a great time.

Huge park to go for a quick sightseeing. Drop by the alone tree for a photoesque site. You will see free roaming rabbits here!

This huge park is so incredibly breathtaking, I felt at peace just by being present and appreciating nature. There are also gym stops with equipment, where you can do a small workout.
