I came here in the fall season. When the foliage turn colour was super beautiful. Make sure u take a free map of seoul forest near the entrance, in a small tourist information on the way going inside of the forest. Strolling all around the forest need a half day. Inside the Seoul Forest there a small botanical garden. The best part of The Botanical is the butterfly garden. Real live butterfly flies in the room. Also there are some animal. Just some water animals on the aquarium. Love to be here. Wasting time and enjoy the vibe of peace.. 😆
Obviously don't come here in the winter because there is nothing to see, lol. I think that if you come in the spring or fall, when the foliage turns color, then it would be a really pretty sight. There are a lot of trees and flowers to look at as you walk along the trails, but they're all dead in winter. The pond in the middle is also frozen. The deer are still here, though. You can see the deer across the street from the the rest of the attractions. They're in a pen and it says you can feed them with the feed from a vending machine, but I couldn't find the machine. The playground is also pretty lit but kids are probably going to be all over the place
If you like parks, it's a great place to go. There are several sections, so it'll take a long time if you want to explore it all. One good point is they seem to have built a lot of new restaurants and shops close to the subway station.
A great park to spend an afternoon at. Good choice of restaurants to fit all budgets and very peaceful despite being in the middle of the city. Rented a tandem bike (near entrance 5 of the park) and fed the deer too. A good place for families with kids - there's an outdoor playground, basketball courts and an outdoor gym for adults too. The surrounding area of Seoul Forest Park is really lovely and there are a ton of quaint and cosy cafes and restaurants.
I loved this place so much! The foliage is beautiful in the fall. There are also convenience stores located inside making it a great place to have breakfast or a short picnic.
