It is the gate that is standing around here surrounded by the modern building which gives you a contrasting view. Best is if you time to take a walk on the inner trail of the Seoul wall and you get a better view and understanding of the extensiveness of their structure.
This are beautiful historical gates. Usually you can find guard dressed typically. Its right next to a market were you can find souvenirs and other stuff at very good price.
The cheapest place to buy souvenirs, bags, shoes. And you will find everything there. The foods also good
There's a giant gate with soldiers in traditional gear all around. Great photo ops and also walking distance from Namdaemun Market.
Good place to find souvenirs. Ask around before buying, some shop might offer cheaper price
Combining this with the historical Society wall and the other gates can give you an opportunity to experience a large portion of the city. This will require a lot of walking and climbing. This beautiful site is a wonderful stop in the middle of the bustling city. Consider climbing up to Seoul tower before or after visiting.
Nice reconstruction of one of the door to the ancient city. Walking distance from Namdaemun Market. Worth a visit of in the area.
Namdaemun market has everything for the tourists. I liked the street food here. So much of variety is present in the market. You can do shopping for clothes, bags, chocolates, toys and many more things, actually most of the things. But price are bit on high side, even you can bargain upto 40% at times. Tourist information staff can be found in the area to help tourists.
Tour Guide was awesome and knowledgable. We arrived just in time when they have guards changing ceremony. Nice experience
Bus passed here and it looked like a really interesting place to go. It's located on the Western entrance of the Namdaemun Market. The gate looked really nice.
