Plaza Nueva is a public square in the city center of Seville, Spain, which contains Seville city hall. The land the plaza is built on was formerly part of the San Fernando convent from 1270-1840. The land was later acquired by the local government and converted into a public square. The plaza was completed in 1856.
The plaza has undergone a series of name changes since the beginning of its construction in 1852:

I am not a fan of places feedback but this hostel really changed my mind, its really a cheap hostel, in the middle of sevilla, where you can find people from all over the world sharing everything ( their stories, food....) , and free tours everyday,a biig living room( my best place), and the best part of all that is the recepition , MARIA AND ANDREA , because of the way they treat people i just stayed longer, they really kind.i really recommend it. And for sure i will be back as soon as i can😎😉

This is a lovely plaza that often hosts cultural events. Many restaurants and services are nearby, along with the last stop on the tram line. Nice area for a walk and some tapas, or a picnic in the square.

Beautiful place to visit - the coffes and restaurants are a lot more expensive. A LOT!!!

Not much to look, expensive and uninteresting artisan market

It's alright, not jaw dropping like the other sites in Seville.

Great place to take a few minutes away from the busy streets. We sat watching parakeets fetch nesting material.

Great Plaza. Shopping, sitting in the sun. A great way to spend an afternoon

Beautiful square in this period until June you can enjoy a Handmade/Artesana Market with a lot of different product from the ceramic to the jewellery. It’s also good for take a break and seat a little enjoying the typical Paseo

It would normally be just a plaza with a Statue of Ferdinand III, however it has some wonderful little artisan shops that my ladies love.

We we're here on a Sunday morning and the place was very pleasent with small shops and a band playing great music

During their lifetime, people should see, feel the air and hear the sounds of a place like this, at least once. Situated in central Seville.

Visit this beautiful square of for nothing else then just on the off chance there will be flamenco buskers to watch

VERY beautiful historical place and worth the visit. I was surprised however that the place seems neglected in terms of cleanliness. Lots of history in one place and friendly people all around. There is also a little channel there. A person is available to rent you a boat to paddle around. It was an enjoyable strawl between the old historic trees as well.

There didn't used to be so many tourists, but it is still an okay spot to meet up with friends and great reference point when you get lost. The trolley goes right up to the plaza and you don't have to worry about a lot of cars. I do miss the green spaces that used to inhabit Seville.

Lively location, lots of good food nearby, taxi station on the street in front. Usually some kind of street performers on the plaza.

Nice wet plaza with a monument to one of the most important kings in the history of Span: Alphonse X, the Wise. It’s placed in an important intersection thus making it a good meeting point.
