A nice tower looking structure on the sides of the river. The architecture and location is bound to catch the eye and is indeed one of the top places to visit in Seville. There is a small museum inside that can be visited for a small entry fee. The walking tracks and river-side parks around this tower make this whole area a wonderful location to take a stroll both in the day and night.

Small maritime museum with captions in English, explaining Seville's place in Spain's seafaring history. Quite good views of city and river from tower, although there are protective barriers in place in front of the castellations which mean that views are somewhat obscured. Much better views from the Giralda, although the Torre is much quieter.

Nice museum with facts from the Spanish discoveries. The top of the tower itself is fine but not spectacular
Ruben Carvalhofeb. 19, 2018
Interesting little museum. Just a few euro entrance fee. If you have an interest in maritime history then this is for you.
Alan Farquharmar. 4, 2018
Nice views of the river and not too expensive to go up the tower. Worth 3 euros and the stairs were an easy climb with a stop in the middle for an information floor with interesting exhibitions.

Great views from the top. Interesting maritime museum inside. Well worth a visit if you are nearby. We went of a Monday and found entry was free that day.

Important building, being also the vault for the goods, coming from America. It was named the golden tower because of the golden roof top in the past. Entrance 3 euros, for students 1.5 euros. It has a small maritime museum and lovely sightseeing point at the roof.

The view is fantastic, you can see the center really well. It is breathtaking. You also learn many historical facts and events that occured in Seville. It's really cheap, only 3€. Worth visiting.

We visited La Torre del Oro on Monday and the admission was free. The view of the city and the water are a must to see. The exhibition is interesting and well laid.

Great views up and down the river in Seville. Museum ok but not too much to see. Great value if you go when its free!
Mike Acasterabr. 14, 2018
Fun place to visit with less crowds then other Seville attractions. Good place to get a excellent view of the city. Also has an interesting mesum below.
Bradley Wallermay. 29, 2018
Served as a gold storage in past times. Nowadays it's a museum about the maritime history of Seville. Nice panorama on top of the tower. Entry fee is low.
Barry van de Graafmay. 5, 2018
Low ticket price but also not too much to see inside. Portraits of the sailor captains, ship models, cannons, old navigation instruments, maps. If you are into it - you will enjoy this museum very much.
Adam Sokołowskimay. 27, 2018
€3 taught me history of Sevilla and the tower. Good way to spend ~1hr. Place can easily get crowded.
Sherwin Johnmay. 21, 2018
I liked it but was interested in the history of it before I went. If you have limited time in Seville probably better to see the Real Alcazar or the Cathedral.
Angus Wentworth-Fosterjun. 28, 2018
Nice view from tower (especially to the cathedral), obstructed by tower's construction however. A small exhibit of Spain's naval history with pictures and ship models, but nothing really enlighting or memorable. Still ok for the 3 EUR admission fee ( Monday free). This is also the place to go if you want to do a city tour by bus or ship.
james garnerjun. 12, 2018
For historic ships enthusiasts this is a good site especially that it's cheap to enter, but don't expect much to see in the small museum. There are nice small paintings of ships and beautiful models that are impressive to see. Some large copies of old maps that are great to see also. The view from the top is not impressive but it's nice to see as a bonus, you pay 3 € to see the historic site, and you get to climb up to the top of the tower.

You should definitely visit the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower) while you are in Seville but don’t expect anything mindblowing. It’s an important historical landmark that has been in the same place for almost 800 years thus making it unmissable. Inside you will find some little history of the city of Seville, the tower and the times when Seville was the most important port in Spain. The views you will get from the top aren’t the best you can get in Seville. Plan your trip so that you go on a Monday, the day with free admission to make it worth.
Alejandro Soiferjul. 9, 2018
The Torre del Oro may seem to be a small attraction in comparison to the other options in Sevilla but there is a lot packed into the tower. The small museum inside contains a lot of maritime history which was very interesting. The view from the top was also great!

Go see the structure, and walk along the river. But it didn't seem worth it to go inside. Fun spot with a view.
