Phnom Krom (Khmer: ភ្នំក្រោម) is a 140 m high hill close to Siem Reap city, Cambodia. There is a temple on the top which derived its name from the hill, "Prasat Phnom Krom" (Khmer: ប្រាសាទភ្នំក្រោម). Prasat means "temple".

From up the mountain you got a nice view of the ouroundings. In a far distance you can Siem Reap city and also the Tonle Sap lake. Check it out, its worth it.
Great Panoramic views of the surroundings and about 15 minutes to go up. Very nice to see the lake.
We took a tuktuk ride out to Phnom Krom. It was a great ride in the countryside and great to see the local way of life. We bought some lotus pods from some young girls at a food side stall stall for $1.
Great for a sunset destination and fresh lake air. The view is outstanding despite some trash along the way.
Nice place to visit and enjoy sunset on the mountain.
Amazing place. You should spend here an hour loosing yourself in the details of this amazing piece of ancient. To be here once in a life
Always from the crowded at bakeng mountain, This is the best/better place to watch a sunset and hey.....no tickets needed for foreigners. Go to the top of the mountain and continue to the hill behind the temple!!!
This is the best place to watch the sunset or sunrise! Great views spanning the horizon from high in the sky.
Phnom Krom is one of the most popular place for tourists & local people. The mountain itself has beautiful views. This mountain is considered to be one of the most popular place for sunsets. Once you reach the top, you will see an ancient temple built about 900 years ago. If you look to the South and East you will see wonderful views of the Great Lake, the largest fresh water lake in Asia ( Tonle Sap in Khmer).
It's look so good on the mountain
Nice for a sunset walk up to the temples at the very top. So really cool old ruins, look beautiful in the sunset light.
Good views but fresh air is not guaranteed as there are many scooters about. Cambodias rebellious youth can sometimes be found drinking beer and blasting music on the way up, taking the spirituality away! The temple at the top is stunning! Some people drive up to the temple but I recommend waking as it’s good but not tiring exercise.
Be careful if you don't have a temple pass. You have to get a ticket down at the entrance. Sunset is pretty amazing if any is clear.
