Cavenagh Bridge is the only suspension bridge and one of the oldest bridges in Singapore, spanning the lower reaches of the Singapore River in the Downtown Core. Opened in 1870 to commemorate Singapore's new Crown colony of the Straits Settlements status in 1867, it is the oldest bridge in Singapore that exists in its original form.

A great place for photography: looking upstream you get a nice view of the skyscrapers, with the restored warehouses of Boat Quay in front, and some foreground interest with the bumboats that regularly travel up and down the river. In the other direction, you get a view of the Marina Bay area and the skyline. The bridge itself is unique in Singapore, the only cast iron suspension bridge of its era here.
Old meets new. Some iconic views .well worth a visit
View of Singapore river. There is a boat ride for a fee and long stretch of path to have a nice stroll. At night the whole area lit up with colorful lighting and looked stunning
