The Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) in the Central Region of Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden (in Marina South), Bay East Garden (in Marina East) and Bay Central Garden (in Downtown Core and Kallang). The largest of the gardens is the Bay South Garden at 54 hectares (130 acres) designed by Grant Associates. Its Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world.
Gardens by the Bay was part of the nation's plans to transform its "Garden City" to a "City in a Garden", with the aim of raising the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. First announced by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at Singapore's National Day Rally in 2005, Gardens by the Bay was intended to be Singapore's premier urban outdoor recreation space and a national icon.

Unforgettable musical light show surrounded by the incredibly fabulous trees. The show put musics from all around the world (including Jay Chou from Taiwan!) together and recompose them into a comfortable chapter. Not sure if the show takes place every night. Really fortunate to enjoy it totally without expectation. The most recommended way to enter Gardens by the Bay is through the sky bridge from 6 floor of the hotel besides it. At first, you can have the panoramic view of the whole garden, and as you walk deeper into the forest, suddenly you are in the amazing atmosphere just like in movie Avatar! Huge plants, trees and insects make fantasy. Quiet moment and mysterious lights send you into a different universe. Few words are best. Just make sure not to miss your only chance experiencing another world!

This is surely one of the finest additions to the landscape of Singapore. The 2 domes - Cloud forest and Flower dome are spectacular. Especially the awe you feel when you enter the cloud forest is great. The gardens surrounding have great trees, plants flowers and small lakes which can be enjoyed by all. Not to mention this is a excellent habitat for bird watching and some to great local species of birds and mammals.

It is a must-go sightseeing spot. The feel of the garden was so romantic after light-up at night. Wandering in the Garden is a very good activity for couples. The pale blue lights on the huge artificial trees made it so magical and memorable. I was like in the movie Avatar while walking in the Garden. I really enjoy the Garden very much.

The most beautiful place in Singapore. If you're in Singapore, you have to have to visit this place once in the morning, once in the evening, and once at night. Better to spend the entire day here. There's flower dome and cloud forest to pass your time, lots of other things to keep doing. The lights at night make those vertical plants look so damn gorgeous, it's hard to believe your eyes!!! This is one place I love more than any other place in any other country. It's the best. Period.

Kindly plan it in such a way that you are over here at around 4. We planned it quite well. We were there at Singapore Flyer at around 1. (NOTE: Singapore Flyer; Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay are very close. So plan it accordingly). By 3:30, we were at Gardens by the bay. Kindly note that the 2 domes (Cloud forest and Flower dome) are paid whereas Super Trees is free (Skywalk in super trees are again paid). You need to enjoy the gardens both during the daylight and also at night. We watched both the domes by evening 7 (You need at least 1 hour for each dome to thoroughly enjoy). After 7, we reached Super Trees to enjoy the light show (There are 2 shows, one at 7:45pm and other at 8:45pm). You will love it. A must visit in Singapore. NOTE: PLEASE BOOK TICKETS ONLINE AS YOU GET GOOD DISCOUNTS AND ALSO TO AVOID QUEUE.

Great place, lovely attractions!!! So much more than just flowers that you think you coming to see. Amazing musical lights that danced with every song this played to accompany the good music. So many amazing sculptures and sights to see and one place, along with the Majestic flowers and plant life. Such an amazing backdrop for any picture taker from beginners to professionals. The gift shop has some many Singapore original items, great staff. Great place to take the kids and keep them entertained.

I have no words to describe the beauty of this place. It’s been a week and I’m missing Garden By the Bay. Wonderful life. Wonderful atmosphere. Mind blowing environment. Nd the way they have maintained it, is amazing. It’s really make me confuse that how do they manage so much vegetation’s and keep it fresh each time. No doubt credit goes to them. A must for all travellers to Singapore. Do spare time there.

Just a short walk from the metro station so very convenient. These gardens are a must see, they are lovely. Make sure you go into the covered sections too. Lots to see and very interesting with some beautiful and wonderful flowers, plants, shrubs and trees, all creatively displayed. There were lots of other visitors but it didn't feel packed. Very well kept and clean too. You don't have to pay to walk around the outside gardens so go back there on another occasion. Return in the evening for the light show through as this is fabulous....and free!

Beautifully planned designer terraced gardens with multifarious collection of flowering plants in the bay region of Singapore. Climate control features have enabled luxuriant growth of special flowering plants usually restricted to humid climates. Artificially created caves featuring stalactite and stalagmites is one of the interesting features in the multi level garden. Also the synthetic aesthetically designed electronic trees with colourful lights complemented with special light and music shows offer a splendid experience to the viewers.

I've been to Gardens by the Bay two times already and I was shocked to see that it's still constantly changing and improving. The two air-conditioned domes were very nice and it's a good place to go on a date to. The flower dome was my personal favorite as I'm an avid photographer but the indoor waterfall in the cloud dome was very nice as well. This is definitely a landmark in Singapore that you do not want to miss out on if you are visiting. Additionally, the night show at the supertrees is a very nice experience that I highly recommend.

It was a heaven on earth experience. I was so happy that my mother experienced this despite her health condition. It was during her birthday that she toured around this marvelous garden. All had been perfectly designed. It was indeed one of the the best tourist destinations we had been to. A 5-star rating for everything is a well-deserved accolade.

This is a WOW place. The design is so great, and execution is perfection. You can spend a day here for free but we chose to pay to take their shuttle train tour for 20 minutes. This way we saw the whole park with the English narration. Then we paid the fee to enter the two domes and we're so happy we did. Utterly impressive inside the domes. There are so many things to do or see in Singapore, but we're happy we made this a choice for our short 2 day layover. Charge your phone before you go, as you will be taking lots of photos.

Excellent place to admire artificial nature but with real plants & flowers within an air-con environment! Wonderful experience for a great learning journey towards lovely colorful plants. It was even featured in the movie "Agent 47"! Transparent pathway with a spectacular bird's eye view from the top. Try not to get wet when nearing the waterfall! Would be fun if there's a slide that can reach the ground from the top!

One of the beautiful gardens of Singapore. Have quite some activities and could have quality family time. The domes and the light show are highlights. Kids play area is another good spot s well. There are some stalls for quick grab of fast foods. Give it a try and am pretty sure one will definitely like it.

Absolutely beautiful. Plenty to see. When you’re hot, make sure to go into the cloud forest to cool down. It’s like leaving the heat of Southeast Asia and suddenly being on a mountain. What makes it amazing is not just the visual success, but the atmospheric changes. The other attractions are equally awe-inspiring.

An out of the world experience. Truly a marvel of art and technology and arguably the most beautiful place to visit in Singapore. While you'll get an amazing experience if you visit in the day. Visiting at night is a must to complete the experience. So visit here once in the day, once before 8 PM to watch a show, and once again after midnight. Photos taken are from 2 AM in the morning, you'll have the entire place to yourself, the peace and serene beauty of the lights is truly mesmerizing.
